Got this for my grandson several years ago and he rides it daily spring, summer and fall. Bike has held up great! It is adjustable so older kids can ride it too. His aunt and grandmother have even taken a few spins on it. I wish you could by replacement tires though. My grandson likes to skid in it and it has caused one tire to were the rubber off in a spot. Bought this for my 2 Grandsons, ages 6 and 9......they were with us for a weeks stay.......they were on the bike daily, they kept saying how much they loved the bike and that it was the best bike ever. My sister in, law also had a Y-Bike for her grandkids and we ended up borrowing it because the boys were fighting over the one bike. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase. We are currently two months in on this bicycle and one of the wheels is almost completely flat. The other two seem to be holding strong so I’m not quite sure what the problem is. The bicycle is surprisingly well built and the price was good but I am very concerned on how long this wheel is going to last.Overall this is a very fun bike and my son enjoys it but I’m not sure I would recommend it at this point unless the company comes forward and replaces this wheel. UPDATE - Jan 2018 I attempted to resolve the wheel issue but after no response from the manufacture I am calling this one a poorly designed product. Its great until the wheels rip apart or flatten out. Save your money and find another company or product, this one will leave you disappointed after a few weeks. ... show more

The frame length and seat position are adjustable for a wide range of sizes and ages. I'd say 4 years old is about the smallest size, and probably 12 is the largest. The components are typical Ybike, meaning they are well built and sturdy. My only fault with it is that the front pedalshaft bushings are kind of tight. You can feel the friction, which makes the unit harder to pedal for small kids. ... show more

Really impressed with the quality. My 4 year old took only a few minutes to figure out how to ride it and now its her favorite pedal toy. Just make sure you make the proper adjustments for your childs size and they will love it as much as my little one does Recommend it highly. J
