I've used an oil spray pump for years. It gets messy... the spray stream is not consistent, you may need to pump up the pressure or even refill the pump (it's a metal container, so you can't see the level) before you finish the task. After each use you must release the pressure. This new design ticks all the boxes! No pressurization needed. Glass lets you see the level. Easy squeeze spray. Easy refill, spray is consistent. I love that you can use it to spray items, and also to pour, so I no longer buy those cans of aerosol chemical filled nonstick spray. I loved this product so much I gifted one to my BFF who loves to cook too. I didn’t want to keep buying spray oils due to the added chemicals, and wanted more control of the actual type oil I use in it. With this I can use whatever oils I want. For healthy lipid profiles I have been using olive oil or avocado oil if I need a higher smoke point. I can spray or flip the button on top to pour. The capacity is more than adequate. I have not experienced any leakage. It looks professional on my counter. It is easy to hold and use. It is stable and less likely than a store bought can of spray oil to fall over. This is a great little kitchen gadget. It's easy to set up and refill. I love the duel functions: spray and drizzle. I also really like not buying nonstick spray every other week at the grocery store. The big drawback? Coverage. The spray feature is more of a spritz, so it doesn't coat the pan like nonstick aerosol spray does. So sometimes part of my egg sticks a little bit. But that's not the end of the world.
