Purchased two of these bottles along with the Emile Henry salt pig to display on my counter. Beautiful, well-made bottles with nice heft and no leakage, despite not being able to slide the cork lids all the way in. The cork lids don't sit flush with the top of the bottle, leaving the cork visible by a millimeter. Regardless, have had no issues with leakage or residue on the surface or bottom. ... show more

Took my chances in spite of the negative reviews... And yep, it leaks.

Love the shape, the finish, the natural cork, pours easily. It leaks oil through the ceramic base and makes a mess on everything you set it down on. Seems it should be glazed on the inside like literally every other food ready ceramics, wouldn't you think? Glaze doesn't leak. Take a coffee mug for example.. how many coffee mugs do you see with unglazed clay on the inside? I don't know if this is a quality control issue or what but for this price tag this is unacceptable IMO. ... show more

Sad I should have returned.

This one leaked and I wanted to see if it would finally stop leaching out oil onto the granite countertops but I waited too long to return. So I killed me to toss away a 69$ bottle I really wanted. The red one i bought 4 years ago is working perfectly. This white one not so much.

Terrible, do not buy

Very nice looking and good weight, but that is where the good stuff ends. After six months of use the spout had fallen out of the cork and the cork is falling apart. It is useless.

Beautiful, functional
