The only reason I purchased this from Amazon was that my store no longer carries it and I like the product. It lasts a long time in a natural soap sponge that I have which is a bonus. Nothing bad to say here. The packaging is recyclable, and the soap is what I want. Just sayin'.

This Yardley Shea Buttermilk soap has a lovely scent and a creamy texture. There are many soaps available today at various costs. Sure, goats milk soap made with pure goat's milk likely has fewer artificial ingredients and more of a creamy lather than Yardley soaps. It is also a much more expensive type of soap. Even goats milk soap made with powdered goat's milk is much more expensive than Yardley. Considering the cost and the availability of different kinds of Yardley soap, it surely ranks among the best of the relatively inexpensive specialty soaps available today. ... show more

Not how I was expecting to smell and the smell that was there was kind of subtle. I think I like other lavender soaps a little better. It performs good for the price.
