The YARDGARD 3 ft. x 50 ft. 16-Gauge Vinyl Galvanized Welded Wire Fencing is manufactured from steel and is galvanized with a zinc coating for long-lasting use. The general-purpose fence is stable and strong. It can be used for a variety of outdoor applications, including property demarcation, confinement of unaggressive animals, drain guards and fencing for backing split fence rail. The 2 in. x 3 in. mesh design provides an effective barrier while maintaining an open view.

But it still looks nice enough to have right alongside the house, as the green blends in and is nearly invisible. Very strong and durable. This fencing is so much easier to work with than chicken wire. It is easy to measure, to cut and to secure to itself. It is a heavier gauge and so holds its formed shape better than chicken wire and is more resistant to creatures. It is green and blends into the landscape.

I got this to go up against my existing bronze-ish fence to keep our yorki-poo from escaping. She's only 5 pounds but this works perfectly. I'm glad I didn't go with the plastic ones because it's not that I am worried about the dog going through the plastic ones but critters will easily go through them and create an escape for the dog. I can see where even in this metal fence some critters have tried to mangle it up and get through to no avail. It blends in nicely and is hard to notice from a distance. I live in an HOA neighborhood and so far, 2 months in, I have not gotten a notice to take it down...only because no one has noticed yet! ... show more

I've purchased lots of wire fencing over the years and compared to the wire fencing I replaced, this product is heavier gauge and much cheaper than the wire fencing sold at Lowe's.

Although it was a returned item in original packaging the fence was damaged with many cuts into the metal grids that had to be trimmed off. I don't think it had been unrolled before so this was a manufacture error. We used it but were happy to have paid the discount price.
