  • Spendy, but excellent. My use is for an 11' fishing raft.
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Barcart
As others have said, it's expensive and something like this could be purchased cheaper or built. I bought a Vevor at the same time to compare them. My use is to cart a fishing raft from a trailer to the launch point so I don't have to clog up the launch area. The raft is small (WaterMaster Bruin: awesome!) so having the ability to fold it down is really nice. The Vevor seemed well-made, but it came missing parts (an axle, so useless without) and Vevor was a pain to work with so I just returned it to Amazon. Really, they should have just sent a new part and saved everyone time, but that's why I ended up with this one. It's super well-built and got nice flexibility in use. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Best kart on the market!
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Bunkster Cart
If you are looking for a sturdy, versatile, kayak/canoe kart that will last forever and your not afraid to invest a little more money, then this kart is the one for you. I'm frugal...cheap if you listen to some people...and I am always hesitant to spend too much for a product. Subsequently I have experienced the disappointment of buying a substandard kart that really didn't deliver. However, this kart truly is all that and a bag of chips and I do not regret investing a little more of my hard earned money. Sturdy is an understatement and manuverability is excellent due to the large wheels. It is also quick and easy to assemble/disassemble and it really isn't too big to be left assembled and just tossed into the bed of a rruck. Yes, it costs more than most and yes you can save some money and buy something that is serviceable, but after a nice hot day spent on the water, the last thing I want to do is fiddle around with a kart that requires a lot of effort to assemble and/or use. ... show more

  • Great, but watch your knees and toes.
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Barcart
Pros: sturdy, rolls easily at the steep boat launch (even with a heavy kayak), folds, and doesn't really require a strap for my needs. It fits my Nucanoe U10 perfectly and my wife can handle it. Cons (mostly user error, but still annoying): the long bars make it a bit difficult to line up on my other heavier kayak with a deep V hull that already wants to tip on the keel. I wish the bars were a bit shorter at least on one side because I tend to hit my knee on the long bars while putting any kayak in my truck bed. I've also stubbed my toes numerous times on the hard surface wheels while putting either kayak into the truck bed. That has been solved by switching from flip-flops to Crocs that also don't slide off my feet when wet. ... show more

  • So much better than what I tried before
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Bunkster Cart
I have a relatively heavy Hobie kayak, which I learned the hard way is really hard for one person to insert a through the scupper holes cart, and impossible unless the kayak is completely empty - which results in lots of extra trips between the water and my truck. I don’t part with my money easily, and was worried about spending about 3x for this cart compared to my off brand scupper hole cart which lost its caps, and the cheap aluminum was bending and the sharp edges were cutting the inside of the kayak scupper holes. Anyway, this YakAttack cart might be the best purchase I ever made. Easy to assemble, strong, adjustable to fit my kayak perfectly, easy to get under the kayak and strap on*, built like a tank, with large enough wheels to not get trapped by every hole and root along the path. Wheels seem wide enough for anything except possibly a really heavy kayak loaded with gear across very soft sand. I no longer need a pair of kayak stands to strap my kayak before hoisting to the ceiling. Now I can just cart into the garage, snap my hoist straps, and up the kayak goes with the cart still attached for next time. I plan to leave it in my truck while on the water, and won’t be disassembling and stowing it, but that would be very easy with this cart if I ever wanted to. *-NOTE that a strap is not included, and is needed unless you are only going short distances with no odd slopes or bumps. I got the 15’ YakAttack 1” strap which works perfectly. I connected the strap through the wheel ends and doubled up over the kayak, buckling in the center. ... show more

  • Kayak cart review
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Bunkster Cart
The product was delivered missing a small piece needed to complete cart. I emailed customer service and they were very responsive. They shipped me the missing part quickly. Great customer service. As for the kayak cart. It is very sturdy, and handles pretty rough terrain well. Very nice cart, and I recommend it. ... show more

  • Fantastic and versatile kayak carrier!
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Barcart
This carrier is tremendous. With the bunks aligned parallel to the wheels I can easily slide my hard shell tandem Ocean Kayak onto the carrier and load my paddleboard on top AND a 5gal cooler. Easy to pull on either paved or sand/dirt. Handles inclines up or down easily. Turning the bunks perpendicular to the wheels, I can easily load my inflatable tandem AERO Zeppelin and place my iSUP with cooler on top. Made moving our paddle watercraft and accessories so much easier! It’s built like a tank. A bit heavy but disassembles quickly and easily for storage and transport. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Material Type: Rubber Tires Style: Bunkster Cart
Using for my old town bigwater 132PDL. This cart is perfect!! You will need to slide the rails out all the way for big kayaks with rounded bottoms. Effortless to put together and take apart very lightweight but still sturdy. Rubber bumpers on the rails holds kayak in place so you don’t have to tie it down. Takes some playing with it to get the mounting point correct but when you do it’s magic! I pushed and pulled my kayak around with two fingers (unloaded)! Another great yak attack product! ... show more
