This thing makes it so easy to put a fish-finder and sonar setup to your canoe or kayak. I use both on a regular basis and used to fumble around with all sorts of crummy solutions, to the point where I just never brought it with me due to the hassle. Even though this is pretty expensive (on top of what you are paying for a fish finder and battery), it's worth having the convenience. I don't have a whole lot of time to go out, so I can just grab the setup, put it in my car, and slide it onto one of my tracks when I'm at my spot. It's a huge time saver and encourages me to use the investment I made in my fish-finding setup! The first time you take it out with you, bring an adjustable wrench that can go on the bolts. You'll be able to make sure your bolts are tight enough to withstand the flow of the water against the arm. After my first trip doing that, they haven't needed adjusted since then.

A great all in one for your fish finder on your kayak. The Nocqua 10Ah battery fits into cellblok box and simple attachment on kayak. All looks nice and neat. Great product from Yakattack.

This is the best solution for an "All in one" Kayak finder mount without drilling holes. I bought the YakAttack lock and load finder mount (FFP- 1005) for my Garmin Striker Vivid 4CV. With this product it's "One and Done". Now I can just take the entire finder, battery and transducer off my Old Town 106 Sportsman in one unit in seconds! Awesome design and built like a tank.

The plastics used for this is super thick which makes it extremely stout when fully assembled. I love how it keeps my transducer wires neat. What really makes this special, is I could take the entire thing off and place it on another kayak in seconds or keep it off my kayak if I dont feel like taking my fish finder. Another win for YakAttack

Be ready for a task. These are THE WORST ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS EVER. I really really like the product. Design, quality, all of it BUT...................................... Worst assembly instructions EVER. The guy in the Yakattack Utube tried but left out so many details. The product is really well built and designed. I have no issues with that. The parts fit together very well. But it's no wonder that the first shipment I got was opened and returned. Most first timers would open this package and read the instructions and return it which is what happened to me. I sat next to the Utube video from Yakattack and had to WING alot of steps because it's SO unclear. Really Yakattack needs to get this right. A VERY detailed assembly video or simply ship this thing assembled.

Let me start by saying I really like the concept of this Fish Finder portable unit. But that being said. Whoever decided on what hardware to use on this unit for assembly should be FIRED! The frustrating part is that they didn't have enough "common sense" to use consistent fasteners. WTH? Allen wrench, Torx, Metric, standard, and even Philips head fasteners. It was so frustrating having to go back and forth to my tool box to get the proper tools for the assembly. It's like they just grabbed what ever fasteners they had laying around that would fit. I really wish they would pick a type of fastener and stick to that style. (Oh and some of the fasteners are NOT Stainless So I expect these will need to be replaced after my first saltwater fishing trip) But as for the design and materials it seems to be good. I would recommend looking into a way to improvements on the design and try to make it water resistant. (If not Waterproof)
