As adventure-loving, live for the water kind of people, we created the Yak-Power system so you spend less time cutting and splicing and more time on the water. Grab whatever electronics you want and easily connect them to our plug-and-play system. You can connect your fish finder, bait well, LED lighting, phone charger and any other 12-volt accessory you need. It comes with an integrated Power Port outlet, which makes it easy to plug in and power your 12-volt accessories. Master power switch. Add and control 12-volt electronics with five switched outlets, connect your fish finder, bait well, LED lighting, and phone charger. Using our patent pending Through Hull 12v connectors and Yak-Power plug-and-play wiring, adding LED lights to your kayak is super easy. Plug-and-play SAE connector for direct connection to the POWER PANEL switching system, Battery Box, or Battery Terminal Pigtails. All Yak Power switchers are designed to make it quick and easy for you to add and control 12v electronics on your kayak. With up to 8 switched outlets, you can connect your fish finder, bait well pump, LED lighting, phone charger, navigation lights, or any other 12v accessory you need out on the water. Featuring Yak Power plug-and-play SAE termination, all accessories can be easily connected and controlled independently using individual buttons on the control panel. Each button turns RED when it is activated making it easy to see which buttons are in use. And, the Master Power switch allows you to completely power up-down the entire system with the press of a button to minimize your power consumption while out on the water. Wirelessly connect your Yak Power switcher to any Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Pro, or Elite FS series graph and enjoy the onscreen convenience of controlling all of your connected Yak Power accessories. It plugs directly into our Power Pack battery box or Battery Terminal Pig Tails. No cutting or splicing is required! The compact design of all Yak Power switchers makes them easy to stow away in small hatches. Integrated Bluetooth with mobile app control for both iOS and Android. (Model YP-RP5R requires the YP-RP5-RFBTM module - sold separately) Warning: If connecting a trolling motor, large LED light bar, agricultural sprayer or other high current electronic 12V device you MUST use a secondary YP-LDR50 Heavy Duty relay and the correct size gauge of wire on the load side of the relay between the relay and the device you are connecting. You must also use the same size gauge of wire on the battery connection to the relay to insure proper function and protection of your device. Please consult the specifications for the device you are connecting for proper wire sizing BEFORE installation. Make sure the plug-and-play connectors are completely pushed together when connecting the system together. Yak-Power uses our own custom tooled, high tolerance, very snug fitting connectors with larger gauge, real copper wire to ensure a quality, weatherproof and reliable connection. Using other aftermarket connectors or splicing other connectors into the YP system may cause damage to the system or the accessories connected to the system Always make sure the polarity of the main power wire to the relay pack is correctly plugged into its mating battery power wire. The positive male (red wire) side of the relay pack connector should plug into the female (red wire) side of the battery connector and the female (black wire) side of the relay pack connector should plug into the male (black wire) side of the battery connector. This will insure that the relay pack is properly wired to power so that it can communicate with the keypad. If power is not properly connected to the relay pack or if the polarity of the battery connector is wrong, the relay pack will not be powered up and will not be able to communicate with the keypad. This will result in the keypad not fully turning on and the keypad numbers not illuminating. If you are having issues with your wireless switcher turning on, please check the polarity of the main power connector to the relay pack to insure that the battery connector into which you are plugging has the female side on the positive (red) wire and the male side pin connector on the negative (black) wire. Also, please make certain that BOTH clear battery insulator tabs have been removed from the keypad battery compartment on applicable models (YP-RP5WR, YP-RP5W-OR)

Yak-Power sells some high quality stuff and this is no different. It was easy to install and the Bluetooth works great with my iOS. We have all had picky devices that take several tried to get them to sync but I have never had a single issue with this switch. I wish this was available when I was adding accessories to my Polaris Ranger. It would have worked perfectly to streamline everything into one waterproof unit. If I ever upgrade my buggy, it will have one of these in it. ... show more

Great setup for your kayak. Handles all the lights required to go night fishing. The remote works great and I have it mounted next to my chair. Hook it up with a 12volt battery and you are good to go. Yak power also has all of the lights you need for your yak.

Awesome design. Quality components. Buttons have a very nice feel to them. Bluetooth functionality between the product and the app is great; I’ve experienced no issue. Yak-Power products are what we install on all of our big bass fishing Bonafide SS127s.

Really disappointed these didn't come with the mated connection wires and that they have to be bought separately. That's some b*******. For $200 it should have at least come with the mated connection wires

I bought the Yak Power 5 circuit at first and after cutting a huge hole to fit it in, I changed my mind to get the 8 circuit instead. I really like the 8 much better for more than one reason. First, I have extra circuits available if or when needed. The panel only requires a very small hole to run the wire through the kayak I am using to wire in place vs the 5 circuit requires a 2-1/8" hole, so upgrading later causes you to have to fill in a huge hole from the 5 circuit model which I ended up doing. I plastic welded the hole and this panel on the 8 circuit doesn't cover the entire hole from the 5 circuit model, so do yourself a favor and get this one first instead of possibly upgrading later. This one comes with Bluetooth built in so that you can control using your phone also if desired and since I mounted mine to the front side of my kayak deck side, I will likely use my phone. I think if you are wanting the system, go with the 8 circuit and not the 5 circuit for multiple reasons and the biggest if because of the large hole needed where this one doesn't need it. ... show more

I used this to set up my kayak for night paddling/fishing. Works like a charm. Lots of configuration and control options, with only I tiny hole. Or, use your phone to control the unit and have no hole at all. Awesome!
