Highly recommend these shelves! Warning the shelf material is more thin wood and flexible, not sturdy. But for every day household items it's perfect. Metal pieces are a little hard to hammer together and I did leave a few dents in the metal using a normal hammer instead of a rubber mallet (because who has a rubber mallet?). Not heavy at all, they are durable and hold a lot. Perfect size and it was easy to put together. It’s not shaky it’s stable. The holes do not affect the quality, we use them to store heavy items and no signs of wear and tear.

The boards are very thin composite board, and the frame is extremely light. I worried initially that the shelves wouldn't hold my things, but it's been sturdy with a fair amount of weight on it. I was able to put everything I had intended to on it without worrying about it breaking. It was very easy to put together, but I will let you know that you'll need a hammer or mallet to gently knock the pieces together. For the money, it's very very good. Anything else was going to cost way more, and this does everything I need it to do. I assembled it as two short shelves instead of one long one, so it's got a bit of adaptability to it. I found the pictures in the manual adorable, 5/5 stars for those lol ... show more

    • Not Heavy Duty - thin cheap metal, bends easily, unstable. Do not buy!

Very thin cheap metal. Bends real easy, does not stay locked in, shelves easily come off. I would not buy this for anything other then storing extremely light weight items. It is not sturdy and will fall over if not secured to a wall. The material seems to be made out of recycled aluminum cans. I do not recommend this for any reason. Save your time and money and get anything else. The tabs bend very easy, making this difficult to assemble. I ended up using zip ties to anchor the shelves in place. Also note, the minute you purchase this, you are not able to cancel as it immediately goes into a 'waiting for shipment', so you will be stuck with it or will have to return it once delivered. ... show more

Light tier. More for items around the house. Holds up well and is currently used for food storage. Easy to put together. Highly recommend. Looks good for back room storage. Would not put in high traffic areas.

The good: comparable to other shelves, very inexpensive. Nice looking (bought the grey). It is not really easy to put together versus other shelving I have purchased and definitely not as sturdy. I like that it has a support bracket in the middle of each shelf .... which is definitely needed as the press board is super thin (despite their advertising, which is definitely false). The majority of my shelves had water markings on them .... either from storage in warehouse or got damp during shipment. My advice, if you will not use them for heavy storage items, not a bad buy given the price. For sure better quality ones are out there but probably double the price. ... show more

I got this for my shoes the regular shoe shelf’s offered are junk. I can put at least 6 pair of shoes on each shelf more depending on the shoe. It is well made and sturdy. We put the top shelf a little lower to make sure it would not be too top heavy. We also choose to attach the second set of rails with nuts and bolts. We drilled holes for that. The way the instructions are the sections of rails are butted against each other on the ends and attach with metal plate the hooks in. The was sturdy but butting the ends did not seem to be sturdy enough. I am very pleased. It says a hour to put together but each and every tab the going into the slots to construct it are very tight and need working to get them in the right place. That being said it is a very well made sturdy shelf unit. ... show more
