I grew up with a metal bedframe from childhood which lasted me 20 years, but it required a boxspring. Its frame on the sides eventually bent downward probably due to uhh too much wrestling I guess. This frame seems way sturdier to me already though! Putting it together was pretty straightforward and took about an hour or two. Lining up the screws to connect some of the frame was pretty impossible to do alone so don’t be too big headed to ask for some help. The rest seemed pretty easy, idk I just watched him put it together and drank tea. But the metal has this grainy texture and seems sturdier than I expected for a $100 bedframe — a specialty kind of frame no less! I’m pretty impressed with it so far, it sleeps comfy and I don’t feel the bars even though we’re only on a 10” Zinus foam mattress, another great amazon buy btw. I get one every time I move it’s so comfy and affordable. Can’t usually say the same for frames. To really test it’s limits we haha er wrestled on it. I’m a professional wrestler and to my surprise, the mattress didn’t even move, the frame didn’t slide on the vinyl flooring, no squeaking or rattling sounds. So, 10/10. Wish curtains were cheaper, maybe I’ll take a break from wrestling and learn to sew or something. Pic attached is for height reference and I am 5’9! ... show more

It was relatively easy to assemble with 2 people, would be rough on your own since you have to hold up the poles for the top portion. No squeakyness at all. Sturdy. Nothing has fallen off. Solid choice over the non bed frame canopy holders, which are flimsy.

The two biggest things I need to highlight: 1. I saw other reviewers say this and it is so true: if you have long hair, it will get caught in the headboard. It’s not a huge deal to be honest. But it is worth mentioning. 2. I had 2 people helping me assemble this, and it took us so long. It’s so difficult holding the pieces just right. This is an issue with most beds but it was particularly difficult with this model. All this being said- it’s so so so worth it. I love the appearance of the bed. It doesn’t squeak or scrape where the metal meets. It’s a great size. Definitely recommend this bed to anyone and everyone. ... show more

I’ve had this bed a few months now. I kinda had a strange situation and had to move into a brand new apartment with very little money. This bed frame and my mattress are the only two things I bought new for myself furniture wise for the place, and I really really wanted a canopy bed. I found this one and fell in love, so I bought it. Shipping time was great, and it only took me about an hour to put together (that being said, I’ve built a lot of cheap metal bed frames in my time on this earth, so I was just kind of going through the motions. I wouldn’t say the instructions are super helpful) it does have a bit of a creak when I move around a lot, but nothing too crazy. I’m using a 12 inch memory foam mattress (also from amazon) on it with no box spring or extra support on the slats and it’s holding up wonderfully. I went ahead and got a 4 corner mosquito net on here as well and cut off the corners to drape it over the top and tied them back around the posts and it looks beautiful. My hair does sometimes get caught around the metal detailing on the headboard part though which kinda sucks. If it ever breaks I’ll edit my review but for now I love it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This bed frame is absolutely perfect. Super durable, no squeak - no slide - great quality. I had ordered this bed frame about 6 days ago and the first time it got lost in transit (not the sellers fault but UPS) and the seller IMMEDIATELY sent another one at no cost and it arrived within a day. This is a great bedframe for the price. The set up was much easier than I thought. I was able to do it myself in just a couple of hours, taking my time. This was on sale when I purchased it, so I feel like I got so much more for the money. I highly recommend this product.
