My Sunnydale exercise bike broke and since i had a bicylce i decided to get this instead of buying a new stationary bike. Riding bikes has been essential to losing weight. Package came on time and it was easy to assemble and mount. However it is loud with mountain bike tires. Placing a mat under it does help some. I will need to change out the rear tire to reduce the noise when riding at home. So far so good. I did tighten the resistance to get the exercise bike feel.

Needs mechanically inclined person to help with assembly and more so when mounting the bike but not impossible to do alone. Bike gears work while in motion and resistance is also adjustable at the base. Great value and sturdy. I keep step ladder next to it to get on and off for safety.

Pretty loud during use, especially if you don't have trainer tires. Since trainer tires cost quite a bit, consider that cost before purchasing. Noise can be reduced by adjusting it to make only light contact with the roller, but won't ever make it "quiet." Recommend you use headphones if you want to watch or listen to anything. PS - Could get the quick release bar to attach, so I just clamped it down on the bike's regular wheel lugs.

When I got my initial package the wrong item was sent, but it was quickly taken care of by customer service and I received a replacement in two days. After reading reviews I was afraid that it would be very difficult to set up and I had no idea how to change out the quick release rod. Thankfully the existing prongs worked for me so the entire thing was set up in about 10 minutes. Some commented that the noise would be muffled if it was on a rug or carpet. I just have a rug underneath it so I don’t damaged my floors. It makes no more noise than a stationary bike or bike rollers. I pop in my AirPods and listen to an audiobook as I ride. I don’t have any problem hearing. The bike is very stable which I appreciate. I had rollers and as I’m getting older the fear of falling is great. I feel very stable on the trainer. So far I’ve used it for a week and I really like it.

I got this so I could continue cycling. This works exactly as it should. It's not overly complicated. The tensioner is basic and for the price, that's what I expected. I see complaints of it being loud and it isn't. That's your tires. It's the same as a truck with big off road tires driving down the highway. You'll get tire noise. Get a set of street tires and swap the back wheel out. Pretty simple
