I was impressed with the fact that it came in with no parts missing and, in fact, there were a few extra fittings in case something got lost during assembly. The assembly manual is all pictures, no words, and was easy to follow. Holes were all pre-drilled and everything lined up well. Overall, an excellent value. That said, there were a couple of assembly snags which could be improved. When attaching the base, it has to be oriented one direction with a front and back. The assembly manual drawing does not show which is the front and which is the back because of the way the picture is drawn. The other problem is that the diameters of the predrilled holes on the bottom of the door were not big enough to fit the included screws. I had to drill out the holes to a slightly larger diameter in able to seat the screws properly.

It was very hard to assemble but we did manage. Unfortunately, several of the long pieces came with a dent in the same place in spite of all the packaging. For 3 of the pieces I was able to conceal the dent. However, for the top piece it shows in front & it couldn't be reversed to the back. It was not worth trying to return after all the work setting it up. But the piece is sturdy and attractive.

I liked the look of it the with our other furniture. It’s taller than the one we had before so hopefully little hands won’t be able to reach the TV. The price was good and the shipping price was fair (unlike some).

Really Happy with this purchase as it was an upgrade to our older entertainment center. So much more storage and really looks great in our living room. Assembly was not too bad, take maybe a little over an hour with directions straight forward. Came in packaged really well with no damage to any of the pieces. The metal and wood really go well and the barn doors went on easily and slide perfectly and level.

Absolutely love this unit. It's exactly the look I wanted. It was even easier than I thought to put together. All the parts are clearly labeled and each page of the instructions tells you which parts and how many you'll need. The one tiny nitpicking thing is that some of the tools were randomly placed in other parts bags. You'll also need a good screw driver for this. Otherwise, it's basically like Ikea instructions, only more detailed than I've received with Ikea in the past. I do recommend having a buddy to put this together with. I did it alone (I'm a petite woman) and some of the logistics were... difficult. I had to do my best MacGyver-ing for some of it. Otherwise, all told, it took me about 2.5 hours to put this together by myself.

A little unsteady as you are building it so be careful how you move it to put pieces on but once together it's beautiful and sturdy. Definitely recommend. Also the put together process was not incredibly difficult
