Make sure you use a level while you’re setting it up and it’ll be great! Eyeballing it can be deceptive and lead to an unstable hold but as long as you ensure that it’s actually level, it’s incredibly sturdy and won’t budge. Worked with a rug beneath it and on bare hardwood flooring. The spin function is incredibly easy to turn on and off. I’m a little bit picky so didn’t necessarily prefer the feel of the seams where the pieces come together but for the cost, a little sensory ick is totally tolerable!

IF YOURE CONSIDERING THIS ONE AT ALL, BUY IT! i’m always a bit skeptical when i see bad reviews on anything, in hopes of being amongst the ones that had a good experience. 10/10 ! poles only fall if you don’t follow the instructions as it specifically states (i know, i know! i don’t like following them either but do 😂). it matched the aesthetic in my living room so perfectly 🤌🏽! when i was installing it, i heard a cracking sound & thought i tightened it too much 😳. here i am 4 months after installation & taking it down with no damage to my floor or ceiling 🤪. very sturdy, easily static (or not) & the color hasn’t faded. would recommend buying pole grip in addition to this purchase though, for sure !!! the pole itself is a bit heavy but if i can put it up alone, so can you, honey 💋 !

I have 9ft ceilings and this fits! I have bought a pole from this company before years ago that was good so I decided to try again. Big brands are expensive. I saw a review saying it didn't fit 9ft ceilings but please remember that after you use all attachments you will need to unscrew the three screws at bottom. They are holding a pole that's inside the bottom piece. Once unscrewed, you can turn pole from bottom counterclockwise and it will increase in height and then put screws back in once tight to ceiling. I put this up myself but recommend having another person if possible. So far it has been sturdy. Easily locks in place for static and smooth on spin.

Installing this dance pole was fairly straightforward—I was able to do it myself by standing on a chair, though it would definitely be easier with two people. Once set up, it held my weight (115 lbs) perfectly for various tricks and dances. I made it a habit to give it a good yank before each session to ensure it was securely in place, and it never let me down. However, this pole does have its limitations. When my male friend, who weighs a little over 200 pounds, tried it, the pole started to give way and eventually slid out from the bottom. It's clear that while this pole is great for lighter users, it might not be the best option for those who are heavier or plan on doing more intense movements. Overall, it's a decent pole for light use and beginners but not reliable for heavier individuals or more rigorous routines.

Updated review at the bottom : I assembled by myself with no problem, I have popcorn ceilings and decided to put a small decorative rug under for extra protection but it’s really sturdy without it, I’ve already done a few tricks on it to test. My two concerns are one, when you go to take out the screws and twist the bottom is the inside supposed to just stay exposed like in the second picture? And Two, on static mode it still does spin slightly but I’m thinking that has to do with the exposed portion of the pole? Idk but it works great so far and is easy to move around between my living and bedroom. Highly recommend for the price🤍 Update: yes it’s literally just exposed if you have to extend it to a certain point and no there’s nothing to cover it as I asked and was told there’s nothing that they or I can do expect cover it myself, I tightened the screws for extension and it no longer spins on static mode. Still love it ________________________________________ DOUBLE UPDATE!!! 6/08 The damn pole has a part that comes up and covers the extension! I didn’t figure this out until I moved. Also for VAULTED CEILINGS you can go on Xpole and get the “ball mount”. I did have to buy another piece for it to be this tall (10ft) but I love itttt

This pole is amazing and so fun! I was able to install it easily by myself. I have had grown men swinging around on this thing and it doesn’t budge. I appreciate the gold color. It is easy to clean. The static and spin modes are easily operated. It has done no damage to my floor or ceiling. I was nervous at first to install a pole without hardware, but this pole has entirely changed my mind. I am never fearful that I’m going to come crashing down and meet my demise. I have even swung around on it at the same time as my boyfriend, lol. Highly recommend!

This thing is awesome. I have moved it from room to room trying to find the best place to practice. It is a bit of a pain forcing it into place, but once it is set it isn't going anywhere. I would not consider this a portable pole simply because I have had to use a mallet to get it fully vertical and well that would be weird to do in front of a crowd. Like hang on just a minute while I beat the crap out of my pole. I can only imagine a whole bachelor party watching me bang away at the thing in my costume, patiently waiting for the show to start. However, I bought mine for personal use in my own home and don't have to worry about any on the fly installs. It has both static and spinning options which totally blew my mind the first time I played with it. Did you know stripper poles spun?! I didn't I thought those women were mega talented to spin so slowly around in circles and not slide down the pole. Well I learned today they been cheating this whole time. LOL just kidding I still can't do it so they still have more talent than I do at the moment. Overall I love the product and would definitely purchase it again if I ever wanted a second, because there is no reason this one would need to be replaced. It is that solid and functional. Plus my abs and arms are looking great from trying to get my Demi Moore vibe on these past few months.
