When we just had the one kitty, we had a little 54inch cat tree. And but the time we got the second, our oldest was entirely outgrown from that one so he never got on it and the other only slept on there. But when they run around and play, they would jump around all over it whic made it look like it would give any day the way it would wobble and shake. We knew it was time to get a bigger one. I knew I was one at least 76inches but also bug enough they could each have somewhere to lay and have space. I scrolled and scrolled and researched and researched. I was working with am amazon gift card, I hardly have enough to cover my bills, so having the gift card helped bc it was easier to chose bc I didn't wanna keep putting it off. The size is unbelievable. Im 5'8 and i physically have to look up when I'm standing next to. The quality seems well made and it looks like so much fun for a cat! Is you have between 2-4 cats and they need a new tower that's tall and will withstand the test of time, order yours right meow !! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my 2 cats. The older is kind of "chunky" and hasn’t gotten on it yet. The little guy took to it right away and loves playing with the 2 hanging balls. So it’s definitely a big hit with him! Although the directions say it takes about an hour to assemble, it took me and my husband about 2 1/2 hours. Definitely recommend this as a 2-person project. It was not difficult at all as long as you follow the directions. Most of the pieces were numbered to match up with the instructions; but we did have to put numbered stickers on the pieces that were missing them. This took a little extra time in the beginning; but helped enormously once we got going. Between the directions and looking at the pictures on the Amazon website it was easy to assemble. It seems to be fairly stable for the little guy to play on. I’m not so sure if/when "Lard Butt" decides to test it out. I don’t have it anchored to the wall; but may have to do that eventually. At least they included a strap and mounting screws for that purpose. All in all, I’m impressed with the size of this thing! It’s almost 7 feet tall (any taller and it would not fit in my living room)! Recommend for any cat owner that has kitties that like to climb! ... show more

This cat tree is a purr-fect height for my cats! They love everything about it and can often be found napping on the top platforms. This was very easy to assemble. It does come with a strap to anchor it to the wall, however I found that if I just push it against the wall, it doesn't wiggle too much, even when my cats are jumping around on it. Will definitely purchase more for other rooms. ... show more

My two girls (who are both at the upper limit of ideal weight range at 11 and 12 lbs) are absolutely loving this tree! It has so many surfaces to scratch on and cozy places to hang out. My 12 pounder is the one who loves the basket, and her weight does not cause it to bow downward or cause the tree to lean at all. I dont even have it mounted to the wall, either. It seems to be very well made and sturdy enough to stand on its own, and it only took me about 30 minutes to put together by myself. It withstands plenty of scratching without wobbling.
