Bought this for my two cats but we lived with 2 other cats being in the house. All 4 cats love it. It’s very easy to set up. I’m 5’2 and it is taller than me but I was able to set it up myself. Very sturdy.

My two girls (who are both at the upper limit of ideal weight range at 11 and 12 lbs) are absolutely loving this tree! It has so many surfaces to scratch on and cozy places to hang out. My 12 pounder is the one who loves the basket, and her weight does not cause it to bow downward or cause the tree to lean at all. I dont even have it mounted to the wall, either. It seems to be very well made and sturdy enough to stand on its own, and it only took me about 30 minutes to put together by myself. It withstands plenty of scratching without wobbling. The media could not be loaded. Got this for my 2 cats. The older is kind of "chunky" and hasn’t gotten on it yet. The little guy took to it right away and loves playing with the 2 hanging balls. So it’s definitely a big hit with him! Although the directions say it takes about an hour to assemble, it took me and my husband about 2 1/2 hours. Definitely recommend this as a 2-person project. It was not difficult at all as long as you follow the directions. Most of the pieces were numbered to match up with the instructions; but we did have to put numbered stickers on the pieces that were missing them. This took a little extra time in the beginning; but helped enormously once we got going. Between the directions and looking at the pictures on the Amazon website it was easy to assemble. It seems to be fairly stable for the little guy to play on. I’m not so sure if/when "Lard Butt" decides to test it out. I don’t have it anchored to the wall; but may have to do that eventually. At least they included a strap and mounting screws for that purpose. All in all, I’m impressed with the size of this thing! It’s almost 7 feet tall (any taller and it would not fit in my living room)! Recommend for any cat owner that has kitties that like to climb! ... show more

I have three cats, and they have a tendency to scratch cat trees to death. They love this tree, and putting it together was rather easy. I was happy with the price and the size of this product, and more importantly, the cats use it and love it. So far, the tree has survived my cats!

This cat tree is a purr-fect height for my cats! They love everything about it and can often be found napping on the top platforms. This was very easy to assemble. It does come with a strap to anchor it to the wall, however I found that if I just push it against the wall, it doesn't wiggle too much, even when my cats are jumping around on it.
