I bought this cat tree to give Dallas a little bit more climbing areas. He absolutely loves it. There are two wonderful caves with little Heidi holes the two tall platforms. This tree keeps a cat busy happy comfortable. The scratching portions are wonderful for his claws. While the box that came in was obviously heavy it was very easy to put together. If you can screw in a screw you can build this cat tree. People are always asking me what I paid for the cat tree and they are always shocked at how low the price is. Does the wonderful value for the money it is extremely sturdy I love the size the height. It looks wonderful against my furniture and Dallas has so much fun with this tree. The media could not be loaded. The cat tree was easy to assemble, it took about an hour. Once in place, the strap to secure it to the wall was too short. The windows have metal frames, so I have not strapped it to the wall for support. This has not been a problem. My 20 lb Main Coon has hung from the center platform and pulled herself up without tipping the tree over. It moves but is never tips in a way that makes me uncomfortable. It took a few weeks for both cats to become comfortable in the tallest sleeping platform, now they both will sleep together, each on their own platform. My other cat is 17 lbs and they both play together without any issues. It's sturdy, can handle two big cats and was easy to assemble. It looks great and with minimal care will stand up to rough play. (Lint roll it every few weeks to get hair off) The only issue is the short strap for securing it to the wall, which has not affected the play of my pets. ... show more

The only reason it got four stars is because the instructions were not clear and we had to take apart and redo it a couple times. Very sturdy and it looks as it should and the cat loves it. I would definitely add in the instructions. What goes on one side and what goes on the other specifically because it only shows unclear cartoon pictures. ... show more
