This is a well-made cat tower and my cat loves it. It is very sturdy, yet is also lightweight. It can easily be moved for vacuuming or relocating to another room. The tower isn’t too big with a footprint of 18-inches by 19-inches, not including the scratching pad/ramp. The height is 35-inches. My cat is 11 pounds and he easily fits inside either of the two cubbies. The top perch is the perfect height for looking out the window, which he loves to do. Assembly is easy and straightforward with the excellent instructions. It takes about a half hour to put it together. While trying to align the panels and posts with a bolt, which can be challenging, I discovered a helpful ASSEMBLY TRICK: use the included allen wrench/hex key to poke through the fabric to align the two holes, then hold the two pieces tightly together and slide in a bolt in place of the hex wrench and tighten. It’s important to anchor the tower to a wall or window casing too since larger cats may accidentally knock it over when jumping off it. I shopped extensively for a cat tower that was good quality with a couple of cubbies to hide in, and that wasn’t a monstrosity. This one checks all the boxes; it’s the perfect size and can easily be moved around. I also like that is has two scratching post surfaces which helps lure my cat away from damaging furniture. My cat was so happy with it that he curled up inside one of the cubbies before I even finished assembling the final pieces! ... show more

My cat loves it! The top bed is a tad small, and that’s saying something because my cat is a small 7 pound little thing but she doesn’t seem to mind. But I’m otherwise very satisfied with the cat tree. It’s exactly as described and easy to put together. Took me 30 minutes.

The title itself ought to raise suspicion about quality; it's essentially the very last line in the instruction manual. As you might expect low quality wood (dont ever get it wet) and there are no actual sides, just fabric (think a basic camping tent). It's surprisingly stable after the hour it takes to put together (yes that's in the manual too - and they are right on the money there), but I find the fact that several of the bolts that hold it together still show prominently after assembled to be unappealing. They do not hide this fact; if you zoom in and look close enough you'll see the 6 bolt heads that still show after assembly, but as you might expect they certainly make no effort to point this out. The fabric appears to be pre-infused with catnip which I suppose is nice except that it basically smells like pot. It's more or less shein-type quality, so don't expect it to last forever. You can easily build a quality one yourself with actual plywood, carpet, and sisal cord for not a whole lot more than these are fetching at full price. It looks good for now and while be ok for a year or two, but it's nothing to write home about for sure. ... show more
