These are perfect for wearing under dresses or skirts. That was the main reason I wanted these. I got them in nude and black. In my experience, they do ride up a little bit. But is not a big deal for me. Anything I’ve ever worn under dresses has always ridden up. My main issue was that I only wore them once and one pair is already unsewing at the seam. I got to wear these under my work pants due to the heat and skin rubbing. I love these pants! They are a perfect comfortable fit! Definetly solves the skin rubbing. I am getting rid of ALL my other bike shorts and keeping these!!! SO comfortable and not binding. I carry my weight in my tummy (5'4"/140 lbs) and I ordered a large. Fits like a glove! There is not really any compression or tummy control. I simply buy these so my inner thighs don't rub. I'm 5'3", 125 pounds, with a meaty tush and thighs. My entire adult life, I've been searching for underwear that cover my whole butt, don't dig into my sit bones or creep up my crack, and still look kinda cute. These are the first undies I've ever found that satisfy all those criteria. The 3" inseam is just long enough to provide adequate coverage, while the higher waist stays put and prevents muffin top. So far, the material seams sturdy and breathable. I'll wear these with skirts and also underneath pants to avoid the dreaded VPL. Probably wouldn't wear them with regular shorts or on their own. Bought these to wear under dresses and skirts. These are a perfect length and don’t peek out even under something shorter. I sized up and the fit was great. Fabric is a nice medium thickness for an undergarment. I machine washed and dried them and the elasticity held up great.
