With black nails, it is more difficult to cut the right spot without cutting into the so-called life. I really like this little nail grinder for introducing scared dogs or puppies to the process of getting their nails done with a grinder. It is very smooth and sturdy. It is easy to hold and has three speed settings so you can start very slowly with extra nervous babies and work them up to higher speeds. I love that it makes very little sound at all and I also really like the built in light for doing darker nails. Due to this I would definitely call it pet friendly. It does have a safety cap over the grinder which I ended up renoving because I am a professional groomer and it slows me down a lot, but for people that don't do dozens of nails a day it would probably be helpful. I like the way it feels in my hand and it's got a nice appearance, I've found that it's also got a rather decent battery life as well, I don't have to charge it very often at all. However, this will change if you're doing very long nails because it puts more strain on the grinder. Overall, I am very pleased with this little nail grinder and both me and another groomer I work with have one now.

The nail grinder for dogs was securely packaged and delivered very quickly, as is typical for Amazon. Thank you for the great service and for letting me use the product for testing purposes. The nail grinder itself is of good to very good quality and is designed to do its job for many years. Replacement grinding heads are not offered by the seller here, which I personally find a shame, since the grinding attachments can be replaced anyway and because of the sustainability. To get our dog used to the new device, I followed the instructions step by step and although our dog is rather timid, she actually let me do one paw with the grinder. I used the pre-assembled "coarse grinding attachment" and the nails were very easy to trim. Because the grinding stones have a recess, the nails do not slip away when grinding, which I really liked. I ground the first two nails with the plastic attachment and the rest of the paw without the ring attachment. Both variants work very well if you hold the nail to be ground firmly with your fingers, which also reduces the vibration in the nail somewhat. (more comfortable for the animal) What should also be mentioned is that the claw grinder can be charged and used at the same time. This is a very practical function if you forget to fully charge the battery and need a little longer to grind. As with so many things in life, the saying applies here... "There is strength in calmness" and if you radiate calmness when grinding, the animal will not become restless and less anxious. Conclusion The electric grinder is very large and easy to hold and is very easy to use. The LED lighting (2 LED lights) is helpful in poor lighting conditions and can be switched on separately. The risk of injury when grinding is extremely small if the grinder is used correctly. (pay attention to life in the claw) I can recommend the grinder set with a clear conscience, but I deduct one star for the poor workmanship of the claw scissors (grinding). The nail grinder is one of the quietest devices I have ever tried - great. That gives the product a well-deserved 4/5 stars.

Our dog is very playful and it is really not easy to trim her claws. I ordered the device, it was delivered super quickly and works perfectly. I didn't even need anyone to help me.Even with this claw grinder, it is not really any easier to trim her claws. But that is the dog's fault, not the device Unpacking the nail grinder revealed a pleasant surprise - a high-quality device that far exceeds my expectations, especially considering the attractive price. We've had the product for a few days and are quite happy with it so far. The noise level is really not very high - the light only helps to a limited extent with dark claws - you can see where the claw is between the hairs. However, it does take a while to file down a millimeter - we're still trying it out though - maybe you just need to press a little harder. Here are the main advantages - the device makes a high-quality impression and sits well in the hand - it has a pleasant weight - the noise level is absolutely bearable, but shy dogs can still be irritated - the grinder is fast on level 3 - level 1 requires a little patience, but is correspondingly quieter :) I am absolutely thrilled with this cordless nail grinder for dogs! The quiet function allows me to trim my dog's claws without scaring or disturbing him. When grinding, my Luna lies very relaxed on the floor. he first time I used it on the lowest setting, he was a bit restless when it came to paws. We then did all of his claws in small steps. On the second day, on the highest setting, he lays on his side and sleeps. I can finally trim his claws in peace and my dog isn't stressed. So that even four dogs' claws can be trimmed in one go without having to recharge in between. You wouldn't believe how happy I am to have finally found something that I can do myself and that we no longer have to go to the vet just for the claws. That was borderline and it got to me to the core to hear my dog scream, even though she was acting up at times, but I didn't want that anymore. So now he only sees us for vaccinations and I already love the grinder. Great stress-free device for dogs that are afraid of claw clippers or scissors. I can even trim my dog's claws while he's sleeping without him getting nervous or me disturbing him!!! Overall, anything but a cheap device, I can only highly recommend this cordless nail grinder for dogs. We purchased this because my dog has seizures. Due to his seizures, we had to stop taking him to get groomed. Normally we would just clip them, but I found when we clip his nails, they leave his nails sharp. I was shopping on Amazon, and I came across this grinder which also included some clippers. The price was great and not more than the nail grinder I bought myself. Therefore, we decided to try this grinder to help with our dogs' nail sharpness and I’m so happy we did! It took two days to deliver and when I opened the package, I saw on the box that there were three different types of grinders soft medium, and coarse. We decided to charge it until it was time to use it. My dog is a chihuahua and corgi mix, and his nails are not that thick. I did have to let him sniff it as he’s not a fan of foreign objects. First, I turned on the grinder to get my dog used to the sound to avoid scaring him the first time use. The noise isn’t too loud where he was terrified, so it was helpful to just have it run for a little while without it being used on him right away. When he gets overwhelmed, he does have a seizure so we had to be sure this would work. He was not scared of the noise so that was a plus! After about 4/5 minutes we felt he was ready for us to use it on him. We started on the lowest speed to start with as he’s not the biggest fan of getting his nails grinded. I was skeptical about the level of power and noise this little grinder was going to have. The one I use for my feet is loud and my dog is not a fan. The power was not at all an issue and the noise isn’t as loud for the amount of power it gives. It’s not loud at all and helps with the sharpness of his nails after clipping them. I’m so happy it works, money well spent It took about 15 minutes for me to be done. We only charged it once and have used it twice since there. This nail trimming kit works and will get the job done, but the overall quality is just average. My dogs nails were getting way too long. I have two small dogs one has harder nails the other has softer nails I was tired of going to the groomers and spending extra amount of money. I was shopping on Amazon I came across this grinder and also included some clippers. The price was unbeatable so I took the risk and purchased it on a late night. I got it the next day, and immediately took it out. I saw on the box that there was three different types of grinders soft medium and coarse. I got my little French bulldog and popped on the soft grinder first. He took an harm to it at all. Just sat there patiently until I was done with his left paw. I would say it took me about 5 to 7 minutes per paw to do a good job. I was done in about 30 minutes. Then try it out clippers. The other dog had some harder nails (Boston terrier). She didn’t care for the grinding too much that’s why I started with the clippers I got it to a really good length before the vein. No flinching or anything nice clean cuts. You may wanna wear some glasses or something like that to protect your eyes from the clippings. After I was done clipping her I tried using the grinder she would let me for about 10 seconds at a time. I made a nice move finish I used the medium grinder on her toes. I’ve got to say that it’s been a huge relief for the dogs now they’re able to run around and I have to worry about their toenails getting caught.
