3rd time I have ordered these as I caught them on sale this time. I love the patterns and the weight of each plate. Sounds weird to say, but the glossy finish is even nice to touch. I dropped one and it shattered- so do not expect glass to be unbreakable, LOL. Hope others love them as much as I do.

These plates may seem to some to be mismatched, but they actually are a part of an incredibly beautiful and varied set of Japanese-style dishes that also includes ramen bowls, rice bowls, small round plates, oval fish plates (which would work especially well for sushi), and small sauce dishes. I originally started buying this china because I was planning to do some food photography and wanted a wide variety of colorful dishes to showcase different foods, but after I got a few pieces, I was so impressed by the quality that I bought a whole set.
