First I would like to say i purchased two sets of these on Amazon, i have those pictured. The dinner ware is packaged by corelle in a VERY tight & nearly unbreakable manner. I so appreciated that!. If i ever did buy more, i would absolutely opt out of the additional packaging (which amazon provides if you opt for it) because, the smaller, FRAGILE-marked & well-packed corelle box slid all over in that huge Amazon box. Anyway, these are everything I wanted and everything i have come to expect with Corelle. Tho they are a slight bit different in color than what it looked like on my iPad, this set is simply beautiful, feminine, and a value that is quite affordable. And for the colors, the red is really more mauve and the green pairs well with all thins country blue, or muted turquoise. (See pics) Even my husband-to-be enjoys them, they are definitely appropriate for a family. My two concerns/comments are to the company: 1.) Please find a way to create your beautiful microwave-safe dish-ware without it getting so hot in the microwave that it almost burns a person! 2.)     • A Choice You Will Not Regret

If you're looking for something space-saving, lightweight, hard-working, and darn near indestructible, you absolutely, positively cannot go wrong with Corelle. Plus, they're made in the USA. My grandmother used Corelle. My mother used Corelle. My first set of dishes (a wedding gift 34 years ago that are still in use) were Corelle. They are dishwasher safe, but I will say, after about 8 years of washing them in the dishwasher, the plates that were washed on the bottom rack started to chip around the edges, while the plates and bowls that were washed on the top rack are still perfect. That is the only reason I am buying new dishes. If I am more diligent with this set, they will probably outlive me. As far as the other comments regarding the muted colors, I bought the set of 6 and 4 of them look exactly like the photos, 2 of them are slightly more "muted" in tone. However, it is a very subtle difference that, had I not read those comments, I likely wouldn't have even noticed. And even if I did, I appreciate the slight variation as it gives them a more handcrafted feel which, in my opinion, only enhances the farmhouse-y/cottage-y feel that attracted me to the Wildflower Scatter pattern in the first place. This set is both beautiful and practical! It gives the impression of the classic blue willow patterns of the past, but it is in fact a modern remake using Vitrelle, which is Correl’s latest and greatest material. It is lightweight and durable.. I use it both for every day and for special occasions. Mixes and matches with other non- Correl dishes. I put it with solid white stoneware type plates for special occasions and it looks just gorgeous.! The price for the open box set was so reasonable that I decided to buy a second set so now we have service for 12. The open box set was well worth the price.! it arrived in perfect shape with no issues whatsoever and literally as good as new! So far it has proven chip and scratch resistant. It has performed well in the dishwasher and in the microwave. It also goes really well with all the blue ceramic pieces that Amazon sells. Have fun with this set! You can’t go wrong! ... show more

I've always liked Corelle and wanted to get a second set. The Indigo Speckle is prettier in person and I'm so glad it came with the larger size lunch plates rather than the smaller appetizer plates. Now I've got plenty of plates which take up so little room and stack perfectly!

Very nice dishes and look just like the picture. However, I took away one star because of the way that they are packaged from the manufacturer and one of the large dishes arrived broken. I've tried to contact customer service on the phone twice (with over an hour wait time) and through email but have not gotten a resolution yet. They only put a cushion divider every 3rd dish so it's not surprising that one of the plates was chipped. ... show more
