Description

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERFrom country music sensation Miranda Lambert, comes a gorgeous cookbook sharing a wide array of tasty favorite recipes, straight outta Texas and collected from all the fabulous women, including mama Bev Lambert and grandmother, "Nonny," who helped make Miranda who she is today. If you’re going to have a Bitchin' Kitchen, you’re going to need a few things—plenty of room, plenty of good food for sharing, high spirits (in both senses) and all the friends and family you can fit. For Miranda Lambert, a good time means sharing a great meal with the women who helped raise her back in Texas—her mom and a colorful bunch of best friends who could raise the roof, come through in a pinch, celebrate, cry, and really, really cook. Miranda Lambert invites readers into this special circle of sisterhood with a collection of recipes and stories. Y’all Eat Yet? is full of recipes for meals that fill your belly, and your soul, food meant to be shared, meant to be eaten with your fingers off of paper plates, or on your fanciest antique China. Some were handed down to Miranda from her mom and grandma, some come from the circle of cherished friends who helped raise her, and all of them are meant to be easy to prepare and shared with those you love.True to Miranda’s personality, Y’all Eat Yet? is sassy and inviting. Whether she’s cooking up omelets in her tricked-out Airstream to serve with Mimosas or laying out the Whiskey cupcakes next to Nonny’s Banana pudding, Y’all Eat Yet? delivers food you want to make alongside charming stories that show just why Miranda Lambert is one of the most beloved artists in country music today. • Honest Review of Did Y’all Eat Yet
Y'all, let me tell you - this book is the real deal. If you're a fan of Miranda Lambert's music, you already know that she's a true Southern girl at heart. But this book takes it to a whole new level. Packed with delicious recipes, hilarious anecdotes, and heartfelt stories, "Y'all Eat Yet?" is the perfect addition to any kitchen. (See my video review for a sneak peak inside. It’s the real person review not the fake AI one) As someone who cooks, I'm always on the lookout for new recipes to try. And let me tell you, Miranda's recipes don't disappoint. From down-home classics like fried chicken and biscuits to more modern dishes like avocado toast and kale salad, there's something for everyone in this book. And the best part? Miranda's voice shines through on every page, making you feel like you're cooking alongside her in her own kitchen. But even if you're not a foodie, there's plenty to love about this book. Miranda's stories about growing up in the South, her family, and her career are hilarious and heartwarming. And her passion for music and art come through loud and clear in the beautiful photos and illustrations that accompany each recipe. Overall, I would highly recommend "Y'all Eat Yet?" to anyone looking for a little taste of the South. Whether you're a die-hard Miranda Lambert fan or just love good food and great stories, this book is sure to become a beloved addition to your collection. So grab a copy, heat up the oven, and get ready to dig in - y'all won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Very Enjoyable!
Really wanted this book for Christmas and I got it! I love the stories from Miranda as well as the family recipes she shares. I'd like to see another book with more recipes of hers. If you love her music, then you are sure to love this book! Enjoy!

  • Wished it had more recipes
Usually when you get a cookbook it has ingredients that you can’t find or know of. This cookbook is more down to earth what you would want to eat. You can actually find the ingredients if not already have on hand and not break your budget kind. I wished it had more recipes and less backstory. The backstory is good but less would’ve been better ... show more

  • More Than A Cookbook
Y’ALL EAT YET is more than a how-to collection of dishes cooked by the generations as Miranda Lambert’s grew up and turned into a massive star, it’s a recipe for living one’s best life wherever you are – circumstances, finances, age, location – with what you’ve got. It’s inspiring and makes her music make even more sense. It’s also a hilarious, fun read. And, as a man who’s not all about fancy dishes, this is a book where I can tackle the recipes. Sure, it’s going to be big for weddings, showers and Mothers Day, but I think it’s a great gift for young men going off to school, first jobs and Dads – like her father, who has a piece here on how to season cast iron – who aren’t afraid to try getting dirty in the kitchen. ... show more

  • Y’all I love this cookbook
Preordered Miranda’s book and it arrived the other day. I literally could not put it down without finishing it. I’ve always loved Miranda as a singer & songwriter, but now I want to be one of her BF’s! I absolutely love the storytelling aspect of her book. Being born in Texas and growing up in simpler times, a lot of the recipes are familiar and bring back lots of memories. Now Living on our own farm out in the country I can’t wait to throw some real redneck parties using Miranda’s ideas and these good for the soul recipes. I highly recommend this book to all y’all who love food, friends, family and just downright good ol’ fun! ... show more

  • It’s ok
The media could not be loaded. I’m only giving it 5 stars cause it’s Miranda Lambert. Otherwise, I’d give it 3 stars. It’s more stories than recipes which isn’t bad if you like that. So it’s not a true cookbook in my opinion. Most of the recipes a very basic. Like the BBQ meatballs is just meat and bbq sauce. If you’re a beginner cook this book will be helpful. If you are more advanced you probably won’t find it helpful unless you are here for the stories. ... show more
