This is a really sturdy, heavy-duty rake! The 17 tines make it great for breaking up and leveling soil, moving gravel, and cleaning up leaves and garden debris. I picked this rake because we have a large yard, and I’m getting ready to start a garden. I used it yesterday to prepare one of my flower beds, and it worked perfectly. The rake feels very sturdy and well made. The heavy-duty manganese steel head handled compacted soil with no problem, and I really like that the tines have slightly rounded ends. They loosened the soil without digging into or damaging the roots of my existing plants, which was a big plus. The adjustable handle is another feature I appreciated. It’s easy to set to a comfortable length, so I wasn’t constantly bending over while working. Assembly was simple, and everything fit together securely. I was actually at Lowe’s recently looking at garden tools, and many of the rakes there were considerably more expensive. For the quality, I think this one is an excellent value. Whether you’re starting a vegetable garden, refreshing flower beds, spreading mulch, or leveling soil, this rake is a great tool to have. It would also make a thoughtful gift for any gardener, and I think it would be a nice Father’s Day gift for someone who enjoys working outdoors.

I got this rake for lighter jobs around the property like leveling soil, cleaning up leaves, and general yard work, and for that it's been great. It was easy to put together, has a nice weight to it, and the tines are sharp and do a good job digging into the soil without feeling flimsy. The handle feels comfortable, and overall it seems well made. The one thing I would mention is that the rake head is attached with four relatively small screws. For the kind of work I'm using it for, I don't think it'll be an issue, but if you're planning on doing really heavy-duty landscaping or putting a lot of force on it, I'm not sure those screws will hold up over time. That's just something to be aware of. For light to medium yard work, I think it's a great rake and I'm really happy with it. Just don't expect it to be a demolition tool.

Love this rake. I have been looking for a good tool for leveling ground and landscaping like this and this one has been a joy to use. The thick tines really break up the soil effectively and the flip side does a marvelous job of leveling the ground. Much better to use than a traditional steel rake for a job like landscaping. The design is smart and even though there is a chance that the screw fasteners might losen, the barrel couplers do a fine job of keeping the sections of this rake tight while using the tool. This was easy to assemble and feels well made with quality materials. I really like the bonus of being able to shorten the rake depending on the job at hand. This was a great value for the money and I will be using this as my main rake for terracing and path making.

Our new favorite rake! Beats the plastic one and the hula hoe out of the running. Moved rock grass mulch anything we need effortlessly. Doesn’t get stuck on roots it just drags them along for the ride. Can move piles of things without taking a layer at a time. Easy to put together. There is a tool included but I didn’t need it. / didn’t see it until the end. Be careful it is sharp and doesn’t come with rubber nubs on the ends
