As a growing artist I’ve been wanting to make my art into stickers and was researching around for affordable sticker machines. I bought a used machine since the price went up the last time I saved it in my cart. It arrived on time, however the roll inside was a bit jammed and it took me a few minutes to figure it out and unjam. Other than that the machine works perfectly fine and the adhesive is great. I also bought the laminate/adhesive refill roll and I was SO happy how my stickers turned out! I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for something affordable and easy to use! :)

This is the best value I have ever found for these adhesive refills! I use quite a lot of these and was thrilled to find such a good deal. The product I received was quality. I was definitely be purchasing again. I do agree with other reviewers that it would be nice to have a warning before the roll is about to run out, but I do usually notice a slight difference in the feel of how it is rolling towards the end of the roll. Also, just try to keep track of how much you have used. You have 18' to use. I also find ways to maximize the use of a roll. For example, if I am running the same-sized item through over and over again (such as business cards), I will figure out the right spacing for putting the next item in so that I don't have a huge gap between items and wasted sticker space. Then I will draw a line on the handle of my sticker machine and corresponding line on the machine. When I turn the handle and the lines match up I know I can put the next item in.

I have been looking for a way to easily make water-proof labels for bottles that go in the shower for a while now. This is a relatively inexpensive solution without having to purchase the heavy-duty Xyron machines that cost way too much for home hobbies. Pros: Waterproof - so far, these are working out in the shower. I am not dunking the labels into a tub full of water, but they are getting quite wet. Thickness - the lamination is really thick and makes the label nice & stiff, which is much easier to work with, especially if your label is pretty big - they don't scunch up and wrinkle and stick on themselves and make a mess. Strong Adhesive Easy to push out any air bubbles Cons: Thickness - if you are making a small item & it needs to curve around something with texture or something with a curve, the adhesive tends to want to jump back up, so that the laminated item is flat again. Cloudiness - the laminated result is NOT clear. It is pretty cloudy. I had printed labels out on clear film & used this Xyron product to try to waterproof the labels and stick them on pump bottles. I don't know if it is the adhesive on the back, but there is definitely a noticeable light gray film on it. That cloud was enhanced by the fact that I used clear film on a clear bottle. If you are using items with a color, you wouldn't see the film on the parts of that there is paper; however, you'd still be able to see it on the edges, since you really need to leave at least an eighth of an inch margin from your paper to the edge of the lamination. Surprisingly I've used this way more than I expected. Initially, I thought I would only use it when my grandkids wanted to make a sticker. However, I've used it to make labels for candles, attach adhesive to a return label, gift labels, etc. Super easy to use - no kidding, there is absolutely no learning curve. I didn't know it came with a cartridge of super sticky adhesive, so I bought one - but I'm glad I have that strength of adhesive and 2 cartridges. One goes a long way, but I don't want to run out.

I use my Xyron 500 machine to add adhesive to pictures all the time so I keep a stock of these refills on hand. I have recently been doing Bible Journaling and there are so many embellishments available for adding to my Bible or prayer journal, and this adhesive is perfect for the pieces that are too wide to go through the small sticker maker. I choose the embellishments I want to use and run them through the Xyron machine in a big batch. Then I cut them apart and keep them in a box for later use. When I want to use one they are ready to go; all I have to do is rub the back of the sticker paper to make sure the adhesive sticks to the item really good, peal off the backing paper and stick them on to whatever I want. They stick so much better than using double sided tape or glue runners that only cover part of the back of the item. With the Xyron adhesive I know the entire back of the piece is covered and it will stick really well. It is also perfect for sticking on clear plastic items since you can't see the all-over adhesive like you can see the strip adhesives.

I have used this specific refill. I get the permanent adhesive refill. Originally purchased my machine for scrapbooking to adhere pictures and embellishments, but now I also use for putting adhesive on postage labels. I love the permanent adhesive, very sticky, and easy to place the refill in the machine.
