These were installed by nailing into an existing post, not the conventional driving into the ground, so for us, very easy. They weigh about a half of others bought years ago, so they are pretty flimsy and lightweight. For our purposes - to extend a 3 ft fence higher - they are okay. The fact that they had nail holes is good. One post had its top hanger was pressed in, which had to be pulled out to work for us, since we had to use the top-most hanger to hold the netting.

These uposts are NOT as heavy duty as advertised. In fact some already have a slight bend or bow from simply being transported. This is disappointing. Very happy with speed of delivery though.

I should have read reviews and looked at pics! Deer bent the posts double the first night they were up! NOT a good value unless you really don’t have a deer problem. Other animals may not be able to bend them, but deer absolutely can! We purchased the same height posts that are solid steel for half the price at our local farm supply store (Rural King where I live).
