TO AMAZON VINE Reviewers: Please note that ALL relevant LOGOS have been removed from the products in the attached pictures. THANKS. I wear this full body 2mm wetsuit from XUKER for scuba dives but also during early morning swims with mask, fins, and snorkel and when I am Boogie Boarding in cooler water surf sessions. To be honest, I wouldn't GO boarding in cooler water without the suit. The FUN is the RIDE on a Boogie Board. Doing it while you are shivering so badly that you are SURE you may crack a chattering tooth is just not fun. This suit lets me take those rides and I appreciate that a LOT. This "full suit" is one-piece with long sleeves and long legs and a "step-in entry" with a classic vertical back zipper and a "leash" so you can GET IN and GET OUT without help. The zipper in this suit is from YKK and if you know performance clothing or survival suits YKK is the zip you want. The suit is a 90/10 "sandwich" with the 90 % neoprene rubber enclosed between two layers of nylon fabric. This means soft and pliable nylon next to my skin and nylon OUTSIDE to manage "wear and tear" on the suit. AND on ME. The full-body coverage helps protect me from sun exposure, seascape and coral scrapes, and all the little animals that can sting me or burn me if I touch them or they touch me. Fire Coral, Sea Urchins, Crinoids, Echinoderms are all amazing to see underwater but bare skin contact is something you want to avoid, and a full suit certainly helps...including gloves and booties, too. Beyond the protection from the threats like coral and other animals I appreciate how well it retains my body heat. This is a WET suit. The neoprene traps a thin layer of water between the fabric and your skin. The body heat that you are LOSING warms that water up quickly, and the nylon lining feels soft against your skin. That is why it is SO important that your wetsuit FITS you. A suit that fits poorly will allow NEW outside water to enter the suit and your warming layer is lost, and you are warming a NEW layer losing MORE of your limited body heat. Wetsuits that do not fit will continue to protect you from the sun and the hazards in the environment, but they will not keep you warm. Wetsuits CAN be difficult to put on and take off. They can be stiff, thick like ½-inch Farmer John and Farmer Jane suits that surround your torso with ONE INCH of neoprene. They are WARM, but you WILL need your buddy to put it ON and TAKE IT OFF. This 2mm suit is easy ON and easy OFF. The back zipper opens the torso WIDE and makes it easy to get into and out of without help. That saves time when I need to change quickly on a rocking and rolling dive boat. Wetsuits are NOT meant to keep you warm OUT of the water. The suit is WET and COLD and you are losing your HEAT to the COOLER AIR rapidly. Once the dive is over it makes sense to change into DRY and WARM clothes BEFORE the boat heads for the dock as fast as it can go. If you are STILL in your WET wetsuit that ride across the water will be miserable. Your goal on any dive is to be SAFE and COMFORTABLE in whatever environment you are in. I plan my dive day to stay comfortable even when the water or air temperature drops. My Dry Bag ALWAYS has TWO SETS of DRY clothes in it. That second set may never be used but you will be very happy to have them when you (or your Buddy) DO need them. I carefully pack this wetsuit on TOP of the rest of my equipment, loosely folded with NOTHING on top of it. Neoprene can tear, it can be crushed, and it can be stretched out of shape. When treated with reasonable concern these suits hold up well through frequent use. I have a PARKWAY suit that is from 1989. Still in excellent shape...it is a shame that MY SHAPE has evolved from a SIX-PACK in my 40’s to a KEG in my late 70’s. If you are unfamiliar with XUKER wetsuits I have several of their products (Hood, Boots, Swim Shoes, Neoprene Socks, and the full wetsuit reviewed here), The stitching is four-strand continuous zig-zag with both glued and sewn seams and YKK zippers. The knees have gelpads for protection from boat decks and sandy bottoms, and the nylon outer material resists wear from normal use. This suit is well made from excellent materials with a nod toward design, appropriate fit, and intended use. Whether I paddleboard, snorkel, or dive, this wetsuit gives me the warmth, protection, and flexibility I need to stay active in, on, and under the water. This wetsuit is well made and fits comfortably without feeling too restrictive. The neoprene material has enough stretch to move easily, and the back zipper makes it simple to get in and out of. It provides just the right amount of warmth for cooler water without being overly heavy. I’ve used it for surfing and paddleboarding, and it has held up well so far. The seams feel durable, and the suit dries fairly quickly after use. For the price, it’s a solid choice if you want a dependable wetsuit for a variety of water activities.

I was in desperate need of a new wetsuit (both my old suits were several years old and they had lost their stretch and insulating abilities). I saw this and figured I'd give it a try as it was priced MUCH more reasonably than buying a name brand suit from our local dive shop. I ordered the 3x as my old suits were 4x but I have been losing weight and they were no longer snug fitting. This 3x is a little snug but when I hit my goal weight in a few more months it will fit perfect. As is, it does still fit, just snug but that is not a sizing issue with the suit as I tried on some name brand suits in 3x and they fit the same so I would say this is true to size. The suit appears to be well made and even being a little snug, fits comfortably. The zipper pull works nice and smooth with no issues. I put this suit through several dives the last couple months and I have been very pleased with the quality and warmth of the suit. It is performing exactly as it should and is not showing any signs of wear or stress.

Great lightweight full suit for late spring, summer and early fall water temperatures. Fits well, although if you run on the slim side of a size, you might want to size down so the suit is not too baggy or loose. The zipper feels like it's good quality and will stand up to the task. The graphics are cool and not too overstated. Overall a great suit, for a great price.

The material is flexible, durable, and comfortable to wear. The zipper is chunky, high quality, and moves easily and smoothly. Great value for a wet suit! The fit did not work well for me...I am a tall, skinny person, so I had to order a size X-Large based on height, but this meant that there was a lot of extra material around my belly. It would be great if sizing could be made more exact, based on height as well as weight.

This is quite possibly the easiest wetsuit to put on that I've ever tried. I was quite surprised that with how easy it was to put on that it also felt snug. I expected it to be loose, but no. The thickness is 2mm, so that's definitely part of the reason. Movement is real easy in it, and I was even able to swim in it without feeling too much resistance in the shoulders. It's plenty warm if the water's not too cold, but I'll certainly use a thicker suit when it's really frigid. It didn't hold much water. I felt like I had good sun protection with this on. Overall this was surprisingly good quality and I recommend it.
