For the amount of money you are spending this is a sturdy solid machine. I am about 5'9" 240lbs and this machine does not wobble at all. it is a pretty solid piece of equipment. I got the 22.5 lb wheel. this thing gives me a better workout then the life fitness machine I was using at planet fitness. no bs. the only problem I experienced was that it started squeak like crazy so I wd 40 that sucker where the handle bar is. the beauty of it I have had it for about a month and I have dropped 10lbs on it. trust me do not have any doubts its a bad a$$$$$$$ machine. even if it breaks on me after a year who cares I spent 300 bucks on it that is 25 bucks a month lol. on the real though this is a tight machine and well worth the money. it is built to last. I am very impressed by xterra. ohhh also be very very very careful with the electronic monitor the wires are very thin. if that goes the machine might as well be useless. good luck all ... show more

This is Money gone to the trash I got it, like many have stated is hard to put together, not too hard, but instructions are worthless. once I jumped on it, I loved it, smooth, computer works and looks great it felt great. then… after 3 Months of using it ( of course, cause after 3 months I can't return it), OMG the cracklings, the pops, man this sounds like a train engine in the middle of my house. I put the TV volume almost in MAX setting and still the Elliptical sounds higher, is so disturbing I had to stop using it cause I can't stand how high it sounds. This is built for people who weights less than 190 pounds, when my wife uses it, it still makes sounds but are bearable. but if I jump in, man is like the Armtrack is breaking in from the front door ... show more

    • Great workout and easy on the joints

Here is a very helpful tip regarding this or perhaps any elliptical you purchase.....use LOCTITE BLUE when you assemble it. The package will actually say loctite blue. It helps keep nuts/bolts from vibrating loose with use. I would also highly recommend taking the side panel off and tightening the J bolt that holds the belt in place. That's what screwed me up when I first got it. Got everything put together (easy as pie) and then after about 10 minutes it went kerplunk. Of course there's no service manual and it says not to service yourself or you void the warranty. I called the service dept and they said, the warranty doesn't cover labor so you're on your own. They sent the standard parts. What happened was the belt slipped off. Not having a clue about belt/pulley systems I wasn't sure how it should go back on. Thankfully I got a service tech who emailed a picture of the belt system. Again once I had that.....easy as pie.....the only help I needed was from a male friend weighing about 180lbs to step on the tension arm while I guided the J bolt into the hole. Freaking tight belt! What I believe happened is after being transported/moved who knows how many times before I got it, the J bolt came loose. Once I started using it, the bolt slipped and the belt came off. While this was a hassle I was happy to now know how things work and I received spare parts in case the belt, after time breaks. You know how that works....a day after the warranty expires things break. Well now I have the parts on hand if they do. ... show more

I had to read other reviews to figure out how to put it together because some of the pieces come preassembled and the instructions aren’t clear. After I got passed the first few steps it was pretty easy to figure out. For me, it’s the perfect elliptical and doesn’t take up too much space. It has a lot of programs to choose from. ... show more

This turned out to be a great purchase. I was able to assemble it myself. It’s very sturdy and very quiet. I don’t hear any squeaking or clunking noises like my under the desk elliptical. I don’t have a ton of space but it isn’t too big for the corner of my room that I have it in. There’s plenty of preset options to get a great workout. The digital display keeps track of where you are in your workout, how much time is left, and your heart rate. Great machine for the price…I’d highly recommend. ... show more

Have the machine for 2 yrs when the resistant belt broke. Called customer service and spoke to Angel L. She was super helpful, got a replacement belt sent to us and now we are able to enjoy the machine again. Five star for her service.
