  • Frustration x 2!!!
Bought this and first time out the back wheel covering broke. Exchanged easily bc we really like the scooter. Day 1 with new scooter, and this cheap plastic piece came off scooter. Trying to glue it so I don’t have to go through exchange process again, but really frustrated. Big price tag for cheap parts. Love the ride though, which makes me frustrated. ... show more

  • Plastic very flimsy, breaks easily, scooter itself works fine
I bought this scooter in March for commuting. I'm 55 years old, don't do tricks and like to take care of my stuff, so I don't feel like I was abusing this scooter. When it came, the front fender arrived broken. I contacted the company, they offered a new fender or $25 refund. I opted for the fender, I mean, it was new, right? A friend helped me put it on and another piece of plastic broke while he was fixing it. Whatever. I really needed the transportation and the mobile part of it I was happy enough with. Good charge for what I needed, speed was acceptable. When you fold the scooter to take it on the bus, there is a clamp that connects the folded handle bars to the back fender. I would then pick it up by the stem of the handle bar to carry it on the bus for maybe 5 seconds before setting it down. The owners manual is poorly translated and difficult to read, so I read it many times. I don't know where I put it now, but I never remember reading anything about not picking it up by the folded handle (or even a suggestion of how it should be picked up.) In retrospect, as this scooter weighs 26 lbs, common sense says picking up the 26 lb scooter by the handle that is only supported by a flimsy piece of plastic, probably not the best idea and it would probably break quickly, but there was really no other way to pick it up without it being really awkward, so that's what I did. I am now trying to glue the back fender on (the fender has a brake light on it, that seems like would be a good idea.) The pot metal that holds the kick stand on broke about a month ago while I was just sitting on the bus. About 90% of the time that isn't an issue, so I let that go. I'm giving this 2 stars because the transporting parts (motor, speed, brakes) work just fine and I'm happy with that, but with how quickly things broke and how short a warranty they give, I wouldn't consider buying this again. This could be a pretty good scooter with a few tweaks. All the plastic makes it lighter, I'm sure, but breaks too easily. I only really needed this for 6 months and it has lasted just over 3 months. I'm hoping the gluing, and maybe some zip ties and collapsing it and holding it together with a dog collar will take me though the rest of the time that I need it. ... show more

  • nice
I bought one before, and I thought it was very easy to use and convenient, and it didn't take up space. Later, my sister took my car after using it several times, and asked me to buy another one myself. It was really convenient to use, and I could ride there not far away, so now I'm buying it again.

  • Works fine, feels a bit cheap
This scooter is mostly fine and it works pretty well. It comes mostly assembled and the remaining assembly is very easy. It drives pretty smooth and for most people, I am pretty sure it will be good enough. However, some parts feel a little bit cheap, especially plastic parts. Do I still recommend it? I do. ... show more

  • Good value for the money could be better
This is a nice scooter with good speed and good motor power. It's design and features are consistent with those in the market in terms of the maximum speed, total mileage and motor power. However, in this price range of $399 as at Oct 31,2021 , there could be better options with possibly less by up to 25%. So I would say this could have a better value for the money if it was a little bit cheaper for the options provided. The folding mechanism of this scooter is really good and I liked it over another more expensive electric scooter that I have so this is a plus point. The solid tires are good when driving , however the air filled ones could have a better riding experience. The display screen is good but it's blurry a little bit. It's easy to operate and control everything by the main and only button including power on/off and speed modes. There is no Bluetooth or a mobile app for better control options. This is something you can expect to see in this price range for similar scooters. The introduction of 3 speed modes is a good one to compensate for the lack of the mobile app. This is good especially for younger age to ensure they have a safe ride as it goes by slow speed, medium and fast mode. One of the good options I liked about this too, is that it has a light weight so it can easily be folded and carried. The ride it self is good and in line with another electric scooter that I have with more motor power and higher speed. Also, I could not find much info on customer service in the US, and there was only some info for the company's main location in Canada on it's website. This is important for customers to make sure they are not left behind if anything wrong happens to the scooter. Overall, this is a good scooter with good speed and good motor power. Ride quality is good and in line with similar scooters in the same category. I would think this could achieve a better value for money if it was a little but cheaper. ... show more
