Super light! If you're mobile this is the platform for you. If you have big feet tho you might struggle with comfort. I am 10.5 and it is borderline too small. I still like it for it's weight and function. It bites the tree well. I think for the money it's still worth it. XOP makes high quality products. ... show more

Wanted to upgrade my platform this year, so I picked one of these up. I can only say good things about it. It's very light weight and compact for ease of use strapping onto a pack. Great platform. I also purchased the XOP receiver to slide it into to make setting up faster. I weight 250lbs and have size 15 boots. I have no room issues with the platform and have room to stand on it and run around for a back shot if need be. It fits great in my pack. I did swap out of the original straps and went with the heavy duty straps (see another review I wrote about those). Using this platform with the receiver was a "must do" upgrade. It ensures that you always get the platform on straight (side to side) and can then focus on your adjusting screw to help level out with the tree which is a fantastic feature of this platform. ... show more
