I bought the XL and it fit my Great Dane/Catahoula mix nicely, with a little adjustment. It does shift a little but she's a maniac when she sees her friends. I'm not sure if it's the harness or the lunatic 11mo old puppy. My only wish would be a clip on the front to have more control

I was super excited to get this harness for my big baby boy, Silas. Last year we managed to adopt a pregnant dog from our local shelter. I raised the pups to 4-5 months old and got most of them into a dog rescue. Silas is one of the most timid, awkward dogs I've ever met but is also going to be huge. I worried that he wouldn't be placed easily in a forever home so decided to keep him and 1 of his sisters. Anyway, I've had a heck of a time trying to leash train this doofy guy. He gets scared and has what appears to be panic attacks and has started pulling me back to our house (we can only walk about a block). This harness was meant to at least keep him from choking and possibly hurting himself when he gets all stressed out. When it arrived I put it on him and started trying to adjust it, which I had to do slowly in increments over the course of about an hour (because he's weird, not because of the harness itself). He seemed comfortable and I was fairly satisfied with the fit. I go to start dinner with the harness still on and he came into the kitchen with one of the straps chewed. I'm totally sad that I wasted the money on this thing. It was a pretty harness, nice color. I don't like the double straps and apparently he didn't either. I will look for a replacement elsewhere. Maybe I'll try lupine because they replace chewed up harnesses for free. ... show more

Have a hard time finding a harness to fit my shepard/rott mix but this one fit absolutely perfect and she looks alot more comfortable

I didn't give this harness a full five stars because the strap that runs over her chest connecting the top and bottom straps is just really annoying and she's constantly wanting to knaw at it. Our old harness that we purchased for her did not have that feature it was just a straight strap going above the chest and a straight strap going underneath the torso. It was a completely different manufacturer and I've tried desperately to find them here on Amazon but they don't sell here. I bought that harness in a TJ Maxx so it's just hard to find that brand. It's what we got used to and what our baby girl got used to. This one is very sturdy we like the reflective qualities on it I would definitely recommend to dog moms and dads that prefer this style of harness, definitely good quality product. But because we had gotten so used to and accustomed to the other type of harness that doesn't have that attachment, we just miss that style. 🤷🏻♀️ ... show more

I wanted to like the harness and we used off and on for more than a month. Now we don’t use it. The problem for me is the front chest band just doesn’t fit correctly on our pup and even very tight, the harness moves around. We now have a vest harness that works much better.

I've got a 180 pound newfoundland boy at home and this fit quite well! I'm beyond excited to take him out with it but he got extremely excited about it and pranced around outside in it!
