I don’t know if these are supposed to float or sink but mine float. I’m new to using this type of planting medium but the pothos cuttings are responding well so far.

This was my first Leca purchase! Upon reading other reviews and watching videos pertaining to leca, I feel as though I lucked out and made the right choice. I’ve been using it now for a few weeks and it’s been so simple to use. The leca was a little dusty, so a rinse is necessary before use. I’d recommend rinsing outside as to not get the dust in your home or drain. I’ve began transferring my plants and even started new props with this leca because the absorbency is amazing. A friend of mine wanted to know there I got it after seeing it, because compared to what she has, this leca is beautifully round, small and neater than what she currently uses. The leca was delivered well packaged and in time. However, I'm not sure how they can claim the leca is pre-washed, sterile and free of excess dust, when the inside of the bag is full of crumbs and dust, not to mention the leca is staining my hands. If you want to buy this item for houseplants you hang into an aquarium or riparium DON'T! This leca isn't any better or cleaner than regular leca. I thought I'm going to save some time and work not having to clean the leca because of the seller's claims-- I think it's misadvertised. ... show more
