    • nice kit
Been using about a year now. Has what you need. Several compliments on the hair stacker. Only complaint is the hackle pliers don't work. The jaws are miss formed and won't grab the hackle. Otherwise, a real nice kit.

    • Whip Finisher Frustration.
Review Image by deh2246
Was satisfied with most of the items in this set considering it's price point, but I had issues with the whip finishing tool. The hook end has extra bends in it and hook was at right angles in relation to the other end that the thread wraps around (see attached photo). My thread kept slipping out of the hook. I purchased a whip finisher locally that had a single hook bend parallel to or in-line with the thread end and had no issues. This appears to be the typical configuration of a whip finisher. Also would have liked to have seen a bodkin with a needle on one end and a hollow end for a quick and easy half hitch instead of 3 thread bobbins. ... show more
