UPDATE: I decided to keep it, so I opened it & it is a bit thicker than the 5.8mil tape I'd previously purchased. But is it 11mil? It doesn't appear to be twice the thickness of the other tape but it is an all around better tape for my purpose & worth the extra couple of dollars. The extra thickness helps prevent the tape from flopping around & accidentally wrinkling, folding & sticking to itself. I still take issue with the fact that the thickness isn't stated on the package & while an image for the item I received is given well down the description page, it isn't at the top where you select the item you're purchasing. In this case, the top (most significant in making a purchase decision) image clearly advertises the 11mil thickness but the item packaging doesn't give the thickness & doesn't even resemble the image at the top of the page. Amazon needs to do a better job of handling multiple items in a single listing page & stop combining reviews for multiple items on the page. ORIGINAL: I purchased this specifically to get the 11 mil thick tape. I'd previously purchased the 5.8 mil version of XFasten & it's decent but I wanted something more heavy duty. This tape packaging is different from that shown on the Amazon product page & doesn't give the thickness. I haven't opened it yet since I'm still debating whether or not to return it since I don't know the thickness & I paid more for it. I actually used it for a building heat shrink job. It stood up to the torch, stayed on the seams and held up against the wind and water. I got more than I thought I’d get. this stuff is awesome and the price is right.

Worked well for what I needed it for cracked, old, floor tiles. I chose white, but a cream color may have worked better. The tape is very sticky, therefore it should last on the floor for a very long time.
