This product doesn't taste much like chocolate or peanut butter. I add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 1/2 banana to make it tasty. Without those 2 things, I don't recommend the flavor.

I have tried many protein powder products...this one is absolutely my favorite! Smooth and no gritty taste. I have tried 3 different favors.. Strawberry Shortcake, French Vanilla Wafer Sunday and Chocolate Fudge Brownie (Definitely the Favorite)...but all are amazing and Vegan. I highly recommend Natreve Vegan Protein Powder!! Don't really need to be Vegan to enjoy.. just a bonus to those who follow a plant based diet!! ... show more

I'm hooked on it! I've got two containers going between my place and my son's where I stay sometimes. The probiotics are reliable and I love that you can add even more water than suggested and it is still good tasting to me as far as vegetable protein drinks go. In fact when you are on the higher side of water it seems to taste best. If it's too thick it tastes weird. I guess it balances out the sweeteners and nutrition stuffs when you add enough water -but even extra water is good..... Sometimes I put more than 16oz water to a scoop. It's good that way and it's hydrating and chock full of protein for after a workout. ... show more

I unfortunately have a very weak stomch and am very allergic to many stupid things like carrots and whey that can put me into shock. I also have extreme sensitivity to red dies and other ingredients. I 1st purchase this from grocery outlet and it did not kill me so I purchased the 25 they had in store the very next day. When that was gone I ordered on line. The new formula is ok but it has stiva as the previous did not but did contain 1g of sugar. The new formula is ok but does not taste anywhere as good but still does not kill my stomach so I will continue to use it. If I could find the original formula I would would buy it all up. ... show more

It's good. It's a little too sweet for my wife and me. We're not sure why, but we both feel hungrier sooner when we add this to our smoothies. Taste is good. We got it to add some protein to our green smoothies.

I have the Fudge Brownie version of this product and it is yummy; very chocolatey. This one I expected to have a stronger peanut butter flavor. Instead, it tastes more like chocolate. Now while we all love the peanut butter-chocolate combo, I would have preferred this one to have a stronger, more discernible peanut butter flavor. Having a firmer, more convincing peanut butter flavor would have won it full marks and 5 stars. ... show more

I got hooked on Natreve when somebody gifted me the Fudge Brownie Whey protein but wanted to try the Vegan option. This protein powder blends well into a lot of things, smoothies, brownies, breakfast bars etc. It is not to sweet, in my opinion, and also doesn't have that weird gross artificial sweetener flavor at all. I have a pretty sensitive stomach, but this has not bothered it at all, which is nice. My only critique on this specific flavor is that it is not very peanut buttery. I was hoping to make some peanut butter banana smoothies and etc, but the flavor does not come across enough for that. Alternatively, this could be considered a good thing, since it means it can mix better flavor wise with other fruits. For example, I put this in my mango/pineapple smoothies and it tastes fine. So, overall, another win for Natreve. I just wish it was a little more peanut buttery. ... show more

I fell IN LOVE with this product when I bought it at Whole Foods one day. It was the best-tasting protein powder I had ever had and I found myself making protein smoothies just so I could eat this. I saw that Amazon sold a larger size so I ordered it and noticed immediately it did not taste like the one I bought at WF. It's not bad - I'm still enjoying it, but it's lacking the natural strawberry flavor I fell in love with. It tastes SLIGHTLY more artificial, but not as bad as some other brands I've tried. I probably will suck it up and pay the extra bucks for the WF version since this is different. ... show more
