For years I have used Shurtape's double-stick tape for woodworking like pattern routing on my router table. It does stick the pieces together securing so I have no complaint there. BUT it is just a time-consuming pain to get the covering tape of the top of ShurTape so it functions as a double-sided tape. I have often given up using it and using screws instead since I could very often not get the tape the covering tape started to removed it. Enter XFasten Double-Sided Tape! WOW what a difference. The covering tape comes off very easily. No struggle, no frustration, no time wasted. I liked the ease of apply and the strength was more than expected. It was real east to remove and left no residue. I've used cheaper tapes in the past but this one is the best I've found.

Wasn't sure I was going to like this, but it worked out very well for the temporary adhesion of parts for cutting and drilling. Holds well, removes cleanly. Not crazy about the fact that I now own four rolls, but that was my only option.

Worked better than I expected to hold down stock on my CNC. Eliminates tabbing on large pieces which is a plus. Small parts are still unstable.

This tape is great. Great for holding templates to your workpiece when routing. I also use it to hold wood carvings to my work table and carving arm while carving.safer and is like another hand. Lots of wood working uses.
