We have had these dumbbells for about two months now and my husband really loves them. Finally he can quit going to the gym and just work out at home! My living room is now also the workout room and these weights hardly take up any space! They are also aesthetically pleasing and beautifully designed! The handle/grip rotates so you can easily adjust the weight level without needing anyone to help you. The handle rotates 360 degrees and clicks at each weight selection increment. You can turn it clockwise and anticlockwise. There are screws on each side that can be checked and tightened as needed but seem fine for now. We got the ones with the knurling as my husband is used to that from when he went to the gym. They say not to press the safety lock or turn the dial when the weight is not in the dumbbell tray! That is easy enough to remember. Also pick them straight up from the tray! The locking mechanism won't allow weights to be changed unless the weights are sitting in the stand. This is a good safety feature! These arrive in two boxes. The weights are already set up and you may want to lessen the weight to take them out of the box. I would not recommend trying to lift a whole box before opening it. The weights are nicely packaged with Styrofoam so arrived undamaged and the boxes were packed carefully with straps around the boxes to ensure a safe delivery. I watched my husband lift the weights first. He said: "You just watched me do it, that's all there is to it." So easy to learn to use in a few seconds of use! Read the directions that come in each box. The pamphlet is well made, durable and shows photos of the weights along with detailed instructions for use and weight adjustment. So one person can use these weights without any help from another person when adjusting the weight levels. I am not a doctor, so this is not medical advice. Please use weights at your own risk but we've found them easy to use and have not had any issues with them. My cat Wolfie sits by the weights and loves hanging out there now! Great for any DB workout. I workout 4x a week and always incorporate these. Had them about 6 months now never any issues always holds together and very easy to put together and understand out of the box. Definitely worth the money compared to prices of seperate dbs and if you don’t have a lot of space for your in home gym these are the perfect fit

First, for those of you in the adjustable dumbbell market, there are few items that range up to 80 lbs and many of the ones that do are much more expensive; I am happy with this price range. Second, I've been using these for a week now and I am very happy with them. I especially like being able to quickly adjust the weight by rotating the grips. Third, I like the overall feel and balance of the dumbbells while I'm using them. Fibally, there were some other reviews/comments about durability and size... to durability: I don't drop or throw my weightsn I'm deliberate when setting them down or back into the weight rack. To size... you are getting an 80 lb dumbbell so, yes, even if you have it dialed down to 15 lbs it's still going to retain the overall size an 80 lb. dumbbell would have. Overall, very happy with the product and the price. Would buy again.

Quick click setting is very smooth. You must cradle them in order to change weights so don’t lose the bases! The grip is as good as any I’ve ever seen in a gym. It takes a little aim to cradle them. I plan to set them down gently whenever I use them. Look cool also. Great value for what it is. A compact set of home or RV dumbbells. And the handles fit fine in a bar bell designed to use dumbbells as the weights. Delivery date was pushed out twice. Probably because it is a heavy item. Just be ready for it to take a little time. . . ******

I am very impressed with the solid feel and appearance of these weights. The adjusting handle works well for selecting weight, and at a 1.5 inch diameter, they are well-suited to the heft. On my scale, these weigh 1 pound more than whatever weight you select. Of course, if you are getting these when you are on the light end of lifting what they provide, you will not be able to lift the delivery to bring it into your house -- obvious, but just a reminder. For the sake of delivery drivers, it will come in two boxes. Unbox each wherever they get dropped off, and bring them where you want them in however many trips you need.
