I had the ultimate Canister Filter dreaded nightmare occur...leak. I have had this Polar Aurora Canister Filter for about 4 years with no issues. Did some research and learned the lid gasket ring will fail and they last about...4 years. I searched the net and found the proper gasket ring (Ring)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N2LWYRV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I learned that the gasket ring should be lubed every time you do a filter clean. This grease is a fair deal and works the way it advertised. if you need to maintain your filter gasket rings, this is the stuff.
