I am a huge controller fan. I probably have 10 different controllers for my Xbox Series X from the controllers that came with my console to the Elite controllers that are way more expensive. I have bought the red, blue, and clear Ghost Cipher controllers because they are, simply put, gorgeous to look at. Not only that, but they are surprisingly durable and feel pretty thick and sturdy. The rubberized back gives them a more quality feel while still being comfortable for long gaming sessions. I really like the dedicated screenshot button too. I use that a ton. My blue one is my oldest(believe I bought it in August of last year.) and I have not experienced any problems with it. No stick drift, nothing. These feel very comparable to me in regards to feel as my Elite controllers so if you are looking for a new controller and don't want to spend $200, I really feel these are a really good bang for your buck. ... show more

My son says it's a great Controller! The Xbox Wireless Controller – Pulse Cipher Special looks amazing and feels solid in hand. The grip is comfortable, the buttons are responsive, and the color design really stands out. Setup was quick and easy — perfect for gaming sessions. Definitely worth it!

I bought the Xbox Pulse Cipher Special Edition controller for my son, and first things first, he thinks it looks SO cool. Honestly, I have to agree. The transparent design is really nice and definitely makes it stand out from a basic Xbox controller. It's also super easy to use, which gets a big Mom approved check from me. He switches back and forth between gaming on his desktop PC and his ROG device, and connecting the controller and swapping between the two has been really simple. No complicated setup, no constantly asking me to come figure something out. Love that, for both of us!! That said, I do have a couple of complaints. The battery life isn't fantastic. It's manageable, but it definitely doesn't seem to last as long as advertised. He uses it quite a bit, obviously, but I still feel like we're charging it way more often than I expected. My bigger complaint is that every once in a while, the controller will randomly become unresponsive for a moment. Nothing is physically sticking and there doesn't seem to be anything actually wrong with the buttons. It just randomly cuts out. It hasn't happened frequently enough for me to consider returning it or say it's a major issue, but it IS super annoying. And let me tell ya, when your 12 year old is right in the middle of a game with his friends and his controller suddenly decides it's taking a little break... apparently the world is ending. 😂😂 In real life, though, I get it. I'd be annoyed too. Overall, he loves the controller, it looks awesome, and it's really easy for him to use across his different gaming devices. The battery life could definitely be better, and the occasional random unresponsiveness is really the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars. Neither issue has been bad enough that I regret buying it, though, and most importantly, my kid is happy with it. ... show more
