I think the case is slightly bigger that OEM or other knock offs. I had to force it into my charger and use a screwdriver to pry it out. I haven't tried to put in my Snapper mower or Snapper power snow shovel but I'm afraid it may get stuck. It came fully charged which is a good sign thus the 4 *. I see where other reviewers took it apart only to revel a 2.0 battery setup. My original B&S batteries were 2.0 so I'm not that concerned about that. My biggest concern is not having a working battery if we get snow. I may find where its binding and reduce the surface. Will update later...

came charged. worked fine for one charge in Snapper mower. But, now it won't recharge on my Snapper/B&S charger. It's also extremely difficult to install and remove on charger. Needed to pry it off with a screwdriver. I'm returning it. I might buy another and see if it works since others have had some success.

This is an okay battery if you're looking for a cheap backup, which boosts its value for money. The fit is snug, and it works perfectly in my Snapper tools, so ease of use is not an issue. However, the battery life is noticeably less than the original 3.5Ah battery; I’d estimate I get maybe 65% of the runtime. I'm also concerned about the battery quality long term, as it seems to take longer to charge than my other batteries, even on the same rapid charger. After further inspection, the 18650 cells are only 2Ah ones, not 3.5Ah like advertised. Keep that in mind when buying.

My extended family have been using this type of replacement batteries I got from various brands on Amazon for different tools, and they have been surprisingly satisfactory for their performance So obviously, I picked up this replacement battery because I've had good luck with similar third-party batteries for different brands over the years. So far, this one fits right into that category. With all these batteries, I almost always check right away that they are recognized by the tools and power them up. Then I also check if it can be charged on the genuine charger. This one passed the first test with flying colors. It clicks in securely, charges without any issues, and delivers solid power for Snapper XD tools that my brother owns. So far, the upgraded runtime claim seems to be true (but that also needs to be determined in the long term). It doesn’t magically turn the tool into something brand new, obviously, but hopefully it will get more working time compared to the worn-out original pack. As he tested, it got the job done without the sudden drop-offs or overheating that cheaper batteries usually suffer from. Again, like with many rechargeable batteries, long-term longevity is the real test. If this one holds up through the coming months and cycling, it will end up being an excellent deal when you compare the overall quality to the price point. Right now, I am content with what I’m seeing so far: strong performance, good compatibility, and a pretty easy upgrade option for anyone who needs a backup battery without paying the full OEM cost
