Directions were very clear and easy to follow. I was able to get them both mounted in less than 15 minutes. They seem to work as they should, with the test and reset all working well. I should note that you don’t replace the battery in 10 years, just buy a new device, but I kind of like that. Easy enough to install & activate. 6mm holes for the wall anchors is slightly less than a quarter inch. I used a 3/16 bit. The alarms do not distinguish between fire & CO2 (as far as I can tell) like some other units that verbalize what triggered them. Unit is made in China.
