Wyze over promises and under delivers. If this review can help 1 person decide not to buy ANY wyze products I would consider that a win. I wanted a smart home, but I also wanted home security. I paid a lot of money for my home security kit and expansion parts over the course of 6 months. I spent a lot of money on cameras, cam plus subscriptions, a year of home monitoring subscription, and even a wyze lock. I’ve recommended wyze to all my friends and family and even people online- I regret it. Wyze over promised with an ad “facial recognition coming to cam plus in 2021” I bought in I bought all the products and I waited, excited. 2022 comes around and they completely disregard everything they’ve advertised and changed it to a new thing called “cam pro” that now “monitors and can alert the authorities if it’s not yours or a friendly face” - this is more money. It does not tie into or work with the home security package per their support line. It does not include facial recognition with cam pro and there is currently a “not going to happen” coming from their support. I’ve requested to return all my items and they will not let me. They will not make it right. Another example of overpromise and under deliver was there “watch Santa live on Christmas” just look that up on Reddit and you’ll see… terrible company that started affordable and started increasing the prices and decreasing the products offered just like everyone else. ... show more

Can’t rate the item because I wasn’t able to use it, I ordered it not knowing the only way I can use it is if I have the hub and the hub has been out of stock for a month now so I had to send the item back
