I love this smart lock. It has different methods to unlock the door. Some other reviews mentioned the fingerprint scanner not working. I did get an error message during the initial set up as I tried to add a fingerprint but later I was able to unlock the door with my fingerprint. I checked all of my fingers to make sure there wasn’t a security issue and everything is good, only the one fingerprint unlocks the door. You can set the auto locking on a delayed timer with custom durations which is very helpful. And you can check the battery level and status through the app. The biggest draw for me was the physical key. If all else fails I still have a key that I can use to manually unlock the door. I was replacing another electronic lock, this was very simple to install and the wyze app picked it up immediately and it worked great. The app will even walk you through the installation of the lock. It comes with a template to cut a hole for a new lock. The lock itself is great, the installation was simple and the fact that it came with batteries was even better. Did however have a hard time adding a set of fingerprints, it just wouldn't recognize that his finger was on the reader. My finger added flawlessly, but adding an old man finger was near impossible. Maybe the blood flow was poor because he is 95 years old. We both were able to connect and control the lock with our phones and I love that it keeps a log of who and when the door was opened. Also convenient to have the cameras and the door lock on one app. Made it easy for him to navigate the different products. It's quiet and affordable, i definitely recommend, even though it was hard to read the old man's finger. We have a hard time getting his oxygen levels with his fingers too so I'm convinced it's not the lock that's faulty. ... show more

I absolutely love this lock. It was easy to install and set up, and it gives me all the flexibility I could ask for. The fingerprint reader works great, and I really like that I can unlock the door from anywhere using my phone if I forget to leave it unlocked for someone. One of my favorite features is being able to grant temporary access to family, friends, or contractors and then remove it when they no longer need it. It also gives me peace of mind because if I forget to lock the door when I leave, I can lock it remotely from anywhere.
