As someone who hasn't scuba dived or snorkeled in quite some time, there have been some amazing advances in equipment. I have been wanting a full face mask for awhile, and this looked like a nice one. Right off the bat, I LOVED the view! Being able to see all around you was very nice and made it feel like I wasn't wearing a mask at all. The fit was good and it was easy to adjust the very large cloth straps, very different from the hard rubber ones. Going under the water for the first time, it was awesome knowing if I accidentally went a little too long on my breath, there was no way water was coming in. Then, after about 5 minutes, things began to change for me. The pressure from going just a little ways under water began to push against my forehead and began giving me a headache. I readjusted the straps for a looser fit that still kept water from seeping in, but it never completely eased the pressure. Another thing I began to notice is how difficult it was to breathe. It's quite possible I'm not used to this type of mask, but I was REALLY having to suck in hard to get a good breath, even while floating at the surface. About 10 minutes of wearing the mask and I had to take it off to get some good breaths and normalize my breathing. All in all I was able to use the mask and go on very short dives for about 25 minutes. Between the difficulty I was having breathing and the pressure on my forehead, it was making things unpleasant. Something else I never considered was having your exhaled air exiting so close to your ears. The bubbles constantly blowing out on both sides became an annoyance. I only had it happen one time, but I unintentionally put my head back too far and the balls that block off the end of the snorkel to keep water out, rolled into the blocked position. Unable to breathe while still on the surface, I had to immediately yank the mask off to get a breath of air. Just be mindful of how far back you lift your head while wearing the mask. Overall, I love the full face mask, I'm just not sure personally it's something I can get used to. Once you get more used to breathing in it, it might make it easier, but the exhaled air blowing directly into my ears was too much for me. These are just my experiences, but maybe it'll help someone else knowing what to expect. My Star Rating Scale: 5 stars - Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone. 4 stars - Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. Would recommend to others. 3 stars - Functional, but areas of concern or major changes that could make the product better. Recommend researching other options. 2 stars - Barely functional, recommend researching other options. 1 star - Avoid at all costs!

I've seen these in the Caribbean and around FL quite a bit and thought I'd like to try one. This took a little while to get used to wearing, especially not having a hose in your mouth all the time. But, once you realize you can just breathe normally, it works very well. I've snorkeled in Fl, and several places in the Caribbean with a regular dive mask for over 30 years. I really like the full face design and being able to see more. But, with this mask, the fit was a little tight for me. I had it adjusted all the way open and it still pressed down around my forehead and eyes and my nose and mouth. After swimming for an hour, it became a little annoying. I didn't have any problems with it leaking, even when I would free dive. I would swim down about 15-20 feet from the surface to take a photo and I didn't get any water down my snorkel or mask. The snorkel attached to the mask and has a small silicon seal (you can see it in the attached photo). This seal would get twisted when I put the top part on and off during my trip. So, I wonder how long that seal will last. However, they did include an extra one. Overall, I feel this worked well. Maybe on my trip this fall I will get the fit down better.

Came nicely packaged. Fast shipping. Love that this allows for a better view than conventional masks. Very cool to be able to breathe as normal without having a bulky mouth piece. Comfortable, secure fit around my face that's fairly easy to adjust. I have a 13yr old daughter who is a little bit chunky and this face snorkel fits very well on her. It is easy to setup and adjust to your size need. The material is made of good quality and doesn't feel like cheaply made. The visibility is also clear and you can see everything in front of you. We can't wait to use it on our Destin Florida trip next month. Overall, this is a good product and will most likely recommend it.

I like these masks. I never was able to do well snorkeling, but this type of masks allows you to breath normally, either through your nose, or your mouth. While I still can get uncomfortable, especially in deeper water, I can stay down a lot longer than with conventional mask / snorkels. It fits snuggly and gives a feeling of confidence that it won't leak. I got the small / medium, and I will say that it's borderline small. I'm 5'10" tall, relatively small build.

Out family really loves full face snorkel masks! These masks are so easy to use you simply put the mask on, cinch it down tight and breath normally through either your nose or mouth. This mask has a very good seal, which is very important so as not to get leaks around the edges! We cannot wait to get out on the reef to see the pretty fish!
