This is truly a waterproof rain jacket. So far I have worn it in downpours, sprinkles, cool days and cold nights. It sheds water off with no problem. It's not a jacket for the summer, but for fall and spring, I don't think you could find a better jacket. Fits true to size, I ordered a medium and I can wear a heavy sweater under it.
