For all parents sanity.. take the car apart. Cut the white wire that connects to the very front of the car. Noise will go away. You will thank me. Thing is very loud and annoying. Why so loud? Just take it apart. Snip the white wire. Drive the car in peace. Car drives fast. The little animal and for those people saying it goes on sideways, just press down an turn like any normal plastic latch with a keyhole like that. Easy. Enjoy!

My daughter used this about 3 times. Didn't throw it or anything so no abuse to the control or the car happened. She out it down and didn't touch it for about a week and when she picked it back up, even with new batteries, it didn't register. The car no longer moved. Just made the jingles. We tried being extremely close to it as well and nope. It just stopped working.

My daughter, 4, loves it however the peg the animals fit on, is sideways so the animals are looking out the "window" instead of the windshield. Not worth the time to return it for a different one.

I ordered just one of these remote control cars for my 18 month old granddaughter- she’s the Inquisitive type.She still needs to learn how to manipulate the controller but with practice she’s starting to get it. This car was so much fun ordered five more so that everyone could race them. Cost to ratio of fun - cost is minimal- Fun & laughter NEVERENDING!
