Snug secure fit/Level 70 buoyancy

I can't swim. Yet I want to learn how to kayak this year. The only life vests my water-loving family has are the slim inflatable ones and I didn't feel those would keep me safe during water sports. I was looking for a life vest that would give me confidence in my safety and yet allow me to move about freely. I liked the look of this vest online and figured I'd try it. I like the openness of the neck and arm areas. This has two straps that wrap around the vest and are adjustable with two plastic buckles. I can't speak for the floatation capability yet but it appears well suited for the task. The adult life vests say they are for >90lbs. I ordered the size S/M that states it is for chest size 30-36 on the inside of the vest. I am 5'2" 115 lbs with a chest size of 34 and a slender build. I usually wear an XS or S in tops. The vest itself is snug on me when zipped which is how I am told it should be. I imagine it would be too tight for someone with a 36 inch chest size and they should size up.

Great quality

When it comes to clothes if I'm buying a shirt I usually go for large, never bigger than that. When reading the description for this product it mentions a snug fit, so it made me a little worried that I might need to size up, but since the large size here is called L/XL, I figured it would be a safe bet. Fortunately it worked out. This life jacket is a perfect fit for me and not too snug. It's adjustable to make it fit exactly how it is needed. I think it's a really nice jacket, well made, I have no complaints about it at all.

Great Life Jacket, US Coast Approved

I purchased the O'Neill Wetsuits Men's Superlite Life Jacket and it has proven to be a great choice. It is US Coast Guard approved and the Evoprene material is comfortable and flexible. It provides excellent buoyancy, even for non-swimmers. The jacket has adjustable straps for a secure fit and the zipper and buckle are durable. Interesting design for more movement and comfort
Size: 2XL/3XL
At first glance, this life jacket is funny looking, but its definitely a quality jacket. The armholes and neck are cut out much more than traditional styles allowing for a lot more movement, and there seems to be more padding in the front and back. The sides don't have any bulk, again allowing for more movement for rowing and paddling. The zipper is a big, strong one and the straps and buckles are heavy duty and adjustable. The material is evoprene, close to neoprene, and is soft and comfortable.

A 44inch chest is not a 3XL
Size: 2XL/3XL
So disappointed. Having a chest requires a larger circumference. Most 3XL are 54-56 in Per the measurements this is 44.

Well made and comfortable
Size: Small-Medium
This is a well made vest and has a good buoyancy rating. It's comfortable to wear and doesn't bind under the arms. The size S-M does not seem to run especially small. Perhaps the larger sizes are not sized well, but I wouldn't recommend sizing up if you are a S-M size.

Great lift jacket

This life jacket is US coast guard approved so you know it’s gonna work. The fit is a little snug but otherwise it is as comfortable as you would expect a life jacket to be but the price is a little high.

Order a zize up
Size: 2XL/3XL
It would totally get 5 stars from me if it had a size chart. I'm between a woman's XL and 2X and it barely zipped. I can't see it fitting a woman's or man's XXL. Other than that it's a nice and really comfortable life jacket. I'm old so in my memory life vests are those orange ones that go around your neck and down. This is way better. The neoprene is soft and is much easier to move around in. The straps make me more comfortable knowing the zipper has back up if the vest is ever really needed. It feels like an adequate amount of padding in the front and back, without any on the sides to inhibit movement. I really like the design.
