I absolutely LOVE this desk! It's very sturdy and goes so well with the rest of my decor and thankfully, no damaged or missing parts. Package is pretty big and heavy (had to use a dolly to bring it inside). Assembled it all on my own, which I started it on one day and finished it on the next. Drawers slide open and close very smoothly. Helpful Tips: Layout everything on the floor to ensure ALL parts / hardware have been rec'd BEFORE assembling...u will need a Phillips screwdriver as well...make sure to face each part the same way as shown on manual to avoid errors...drawer rails are tricky, so TAKE YOUR TIME when you get to that step! While I attached them correctly, that step took me the longest. Overall, I am so pleased with the look and durability of this desk and feel that it is reasonably priced. Solid Desk. You will need at least 4-5 hours to dedicate to assemble so have free time. If you're structured, and don't make a mess this will be n easy assemble. Good home office desk, solid.

So, first of all, I want to start by saying that I love this desk. I was skeptical after reading the less positive reviews and wasn't sure if I wanted to risk spending the money on this purchase. Assembly was a bit tedious, but the instructions were very easy to understand and follow. All the required hardware was included, but I do recommend using your own personal tools when possible. My only complaint is that one piece of one of the small drawers didn't want to screw in properly. I ended up using wood glue for extra security and had to wait 24 hours for the glue to dry before I could finish assembling the desk. But otherwise, this desk looks great and fits perfectly in the office space we have. ... show more

Honestly, I’m surprised by how much I love this table. I read the reviews and was worried something might arrive broken — especially since the box is extremely heavy and I wouldn’t be able to return it if needed. But everything arrived perfectly. It took me about four hours to assemble, but the instructions were pretty clear. I made a few mistakes along the way, but they were easy to fix, so the assembly was long but not difficult. Product was packaged very well, boxes were damaged but pieces inside are fully encapsulated in corner buffers and styrofoam, so do not worry about transit damage. Honestly, it takes a lot of time to assemble. I glued the dowel pins in on the two cabinets and glued one side of the rest so I can disassemble it later if I have to. Set aside at least 6 hours for assembly. Color is pretty close to the photos. ASSEMBLE THIS IN PLACE is by far my greatest recommendation. Its a PITA to move by yourself, especially on carpet. It doesn't like to keep square if you move one portion by itself. That was really my only take away from it. Still, for the price, its very competitive with name-brand desks. It's much higher quality than the $90 desks on Amazon. If you are looking for this style of furniture for your office do not hesitate on this. ... show more

Looks nice, but the L-shape isn’t very practical I had high expectations for this desk based on the design and overall appearance. Unfortunately, the L-shaped layout doesn’t work as well in practice as it does in the product photos. The main issue is usability. When seated in a standard office chair, the back of the chair prevents you from easily rotating into the L portion of the desk. This makes that section awkward to access unless you repeatedly reposition your chair. Because of this, the extra surface area doesn’t feel as functional as intended, especially if you plan to use the desk for multitasking or multiple monitors. An additional issue I had was that it was delivered with a black streak on the desktop that I can't remove. Assembly was also very time-consuming, as the other reviews mentioned. It’s manageable with patience, but definitely not a quick or easy build. Once assembled, the desk is reasonably sturdy and looks good in the room. However, the design limitations and difficult assembly process take away from the overall experience. Overall: This desk may work for some setups, but if you’re purchasing it specifically for the L-shaped configuration, I’d recommend carefully checking the dimensions and thinking through how you’ll move in and out of that space while seated. ... show more
