Description

Boosting power, precision, and efficiency the Worx NITRO 20V Cordless 16GA Finish Nail Gun (WX841L) will streamline your finish carpentry projects—such as fastening baseboards, framing, building cabinets, installing trim, and more. With innovative NailForce Air Impact Technology, the WX841L securely drives finish nails up to 2-1/2" long into hardwood materials—such as maple and oak. Designed for superior productivity, this finish nailer rapidly fires up to 70 nails/minute in Contact Actuation Mode. The nail gun is ideal for high-demand projects with a high-efficiency brushless motor that delivers 25% more power, 50% longer runtime, and a 10X longer life over standard brushed motors. Combining PowerShare™ battery power and Air Impact Technology, this electric finish nailer offers pure cordless freedom by eliminating the hassles of air compressors, gas cartridges, or air hoses associated with pneumatic nailers. Plus, the same battery conveniently powers over 140+ other cordless tools that are part of the Worx PowerShare platform. This cordless finish nailer offers a compact design to easily nail within tight spaces and attach baseboards or trim. The battery-powered finish nail gun minimizes interruptions with its tool-free jam release. When nail jams happen, simply lift and unhook the release lever to clear the jam. For peace of mind, rely on dry-fire lockout to prevent firing on empty, which helps extend tool life and prevent damage to work surfaces. This cordless nailer also has a unique anti- ejection design to prevents nails from becoming airborne. The electric finish nailer offers two firing modes: Contact Actuation and Single Sequential Mode. A narrow nose design helps maintain a clear line of sight during application. Dual LED lighting helps boost visibility in dark areas—such as under cabinetry. Tool-free depth adjustment simplifies operation, allowing you to set nails at a precise depth on every shot to prevent damage to work surfaces.

  • Great tool
Style: 16Ga Straight Finish Nailer (Battery &am...
Love this thing. I don’t own any battery operated power tools so I was skeptical. But since I do not own a compressor, this purchase made sense. No chords to fuss with, and it works smoothly and efficiently

  • Shockingly powerful
Style: 16Ga Straight Finish Nailer (Battery &am...
Not having to listen to an air compressor next to you is worth the price alone. The fact that it works great and is plenty powerful really makes it an easy decision. Make no mistake, this isn't a featherweight, but totally reasonable so long as you don't think you're going to hold it over your head all day. I needed this for mounting some plantation shutters and it worked amazingly. Total time saver. Every nail fed fine and went in a perfect depth. Plenty of battery life. ... show more

  • Heavy but very useful
Style: 20V 18GA Nail & Staple Gun (Battery ...
She's heavy, but I bought her to help insulate the ceiling in my garage. I didn't want to have to drag around a compressor cord while up on a platform holding furring strips up against rigid foam. Have used it multiple times since.

  • Doesn’t work in cold weather
Style: 16Ga Straight Finish Nailer (Tool only)
When the temp is below 45F (that’s 7C in non-freedom units) the tool simply doesn’t work until I warm up the batteries. I have had the same problem with the 10” chainsaw from this brand. Annoyingly underdesigned in that regard. Otherwise seems sturdy and works great.

  • Finicky and unreliable
Style: 16Ga Straight Finish Nailer (Tool only)
The media could not be loaded. I bought this back in October, but only recently got around to using it. My initial impression is that it’s very finicky. When it works it works great. However, I have to spend five to ten minutes every single time for it to start shooting. Once it starts shooting it will keep going for five or six shots without issues and then stop. I am shooting on single shot mode, the safety nub is pressed firmly against the surface, and the nails are loaded properly. I will press the trigger and the light flashes three times (according to the manual it’s an overheat), but there is no reason it should be overheating if I just started. I’ve tried different batteries. I’ve tried different nails. I have checked every setting and I cannot see what the issue is. A few times I saw the lever that shoots the nails in extended and stuck and I have to manually push it back in. I don’t know if I got a faulty one, but it’s past the return period and pretty disappointed because every other Worx product I own works great. Also, not a deal breaker but the “Brushless Motor” rubber stickers were already falling off when I opened the box. ... show more

  • Great tool!

The item was received on time, easy to use and works as it should. Makes my small DIY project go faster. Good quality tool and I think it’s worth the money spent for it. Since the first time it was charged the battery still has plenty of power left.

  • worx cordless nailer is really a non nailer.
Style: 16Ga Straight Finish Nailer (Battery &am...
It worked great for about 200 nails then even with a full charge, I pulled the trigger and a humming noise was present without any nail firing out. No durability in this nail gun. I advise you buy another brand.

  • Love it
Style: 20V 18GA Nail & Staple Gun (Battery ...
Can't imaine my garage without this anymore. Such a convenience. Really boosts up projects. This comment can apply to any decent alternative. Specific to this one - it works with nails and staples. And it works great for me as I dont have to buy 2 tools instead of one which does both jobs as good. One issue with mine is that the single-miltiple shot switch doesn't work when I put it on single. But I use it as a safety switch so I guess no complains. In any case tho, I'd highly advice against leaving batteries on. It can seriously hurt someone who doesn't know how to properly handle it. So, batteries out when storing, even when taking a break. ... show more
