Description

The Worx MAKERX Air Brush is more nimble than other air brushes, due to its slim form factor. But because it’s backed by a 20V battery, it’s actually more powerful, and lasts longer on a single charge. There’s no need for an air compressor, it’s just your MAKERX Air Brush and the Hub going where you go. With its precision 0.4 mm nozzle, it excels at fine, detailed jobs, like tiny crafts of all kinds. Its pressure rating is 14-18psi, and the dual function trigger controls its 7 L flow capacity. It comes with a dropper, spanner wrench, and cleaning brush in the box. MAKERX has created crafting and hobby tools that are smaller, but more powerful—the secret lies in the Hub. It’s a power source that you can take with your tool, so if you want to work in the middle of a large space, you can, and still have the power to get the job done. Thoughtful design allowed Worx engineers to make these tools slimmer, so you can hold them with more precision, and provide a level of detail to your projects that’s not possible with other tools. This model doesn’t come with the MAKERX Hub or a 20V Power Share battery, but that’s by design. Because if you already have a Hub and a battery, there’s no need to buy it again. It’s a great way to save money as you build up your MAKERX tool collection.

  • Great addition to my other makerx tools.
Great for precise projects requiring painting

  • I love these little crafting tools
I got the set from my husband ( who loves me so much to indulge my crafting insanity) and I just bought the spray painting tool so my son can paint his models with it .. ships, planes, submarines .. so much to do and these tools get it done.

  • Works as expected but plan for low pressure painting.
Tool works exactly as expected but you do have to prep your paints for low pressure pai ting. Basically thin the paint out so it flows smoothly with a soft consistency. Acrylic or any sort of paint that has a heavy viscosity will need thinning to work. Planning ahead though saves a lot of time and makes for very nice finished work. Otherwise it is a solid tool. ... show more

  • Nope, Not Keeping This One
I've purchased most of the tools in the Worx Maker X family. The concept of an interchangeable tools on a single controller and battery really intrigued me, primarily for use aboard an older sailboat where projects are always on tap. My usage is probably a little more than Worx intended for the Maker X system, but since I already had a number of Worx tools and batteries I decided to give the tools a try. So far, I would rate the scores of the devices from a one to a five in utility and functionality. The paint sprayer is by far the worst. The paint container is tiny, though in fairness that point is obvious in the pictures. Air pressure seems really inadequate. The instructions are minimal with no clear guidance for the right paints to use or the amount of thinning required. I tried a number of different paints, thinned to varying levels. It took a lot of thinning to get the paint to spray at all. The spray pattern at that level of thinning was terribly erratic. I ended up with big drippy splotches and other areas with little or no coverage. I tried all the adjustments I could which made little difference. Better instructions might have helped, but my experience with three other types of sprayers quickly turned me against keeping the Maker X device and I returned for a refund. The device was easy to clean. I couldn't get a sense of battery life, but I suspect it would be okay for tiny projects. ... show more

  • Keeps clogging
When I first started using my worx airbrush it was great but after a while it started clogging up even when cleaning it. I'm on my 3rd one now. Maybe I need to try a different brand.

  • It was broken upon arrival.
I received the airbrush last week and was able to test it today. I am a fairly experiences spray gun user but from the moment I added some paint and started to test the pattern, it kept spitting out paint and the paint siphon kept bubbling up the paint. I tried adjusting the pattern, increased paint amount, and still continued to have issues. I decided to check the spray nozzle and once I unscrewed the two outer nozzles, a tiny piece "to" fell out. I thought it needed to be screwed back in but it wouldn't. By this time my hands are covered in paint. I then decided to clean it up and see if it would go back on but it wouldn't. I then looked at the piece under a microscope and realized that the piece that fell out was actually broken. I can't give a good rating until I am able to actually test the product, but it isn't possible with broken pieces. What should I do? I don't think I should pay to replace the broken tip. I am very disappointed because I have two projects that needed to be completed by tomorrow. ... show more
