These negative reviews are apalling. You buy yourself a very inexpensive mini greenhouse that plainly states it's only 12 lbs of lightweight metal and plastic. You assemble this TALL, skinny Jenga tower, proceed to place it outdoors in the elements without any kind of stabilization and then load it up with tons of heavy pots. When the product fails, you then proceed to publicly scalp the seller for their horrible product! Common sense, realistic expectations of an inexpensive, lightweight product and a few extra minutes during assembly to stabilize should prevail here...but clearly not for some. A small piece of electrical tape at either end of each metal pole before inserting into the plastic pieces, gives enough grip for the poles to stay seated tightly and well. Zip ties do wonders to hold down each wire shelf securely. Logic says that ANY tall narrow object left out in ANY wind is going to fall. Use common sense and take the time to secure your mini greenhouse to the side of your shed, house etc or use lines at all four corners and stake to the ground. Realistic expectations and a little extra time to make sure everything is secure will result in a mini greenhouse that is GREAT for starting seeds indoors or hardening off plant starts outside. If you want a heavy duty greenhouse, spend hundreds or thousands on one...but don't expect $55 and 12 lbs of lightweight metal and plastic to behave like one. This greenhouse works perfect for my uses. I use LED grow lights in mine and a small computer type fan for circulation. Two 1020 grow trays fit on each shelf. I put the whole thing together and placed it where I wanted it in about 45 minutes. I read other reviews about sturdiness so I went ahead and made securing the shelves to the supports part of my process. I put one zip tie in each corner of the shelf. I picked it up and moved it to where I wanted it. I put a cinder block across the bottom shelf to further secure it. I can put smaller peat pots on top of the cinder block if I need the space. All together this was a simple and straightforward assembly. I only added cinder blocks because of the seasonal winds we get. I could have used stakes and twine if I was putting it on to dirt but I put it on my back deck. ... show more

The product is nicely packed in a compact box. All pieces slide together -- tools are not required. Since it is not secured by screws/bolts, it can easily come apart when you try to move the entire unit. I was able to move the assembled unit carefully from an indoor space to our patio. Additionally, I secured the corner of each shelf to the frame with zip ties. I spent exactly 15 minutes to fully assemble and zip tie the corner of each shelf. It is great for our purpose of staging seedlings/young plants in pots less than 6". I probably wont place large plants on the unit . The vinyl cover hasn't been used yet, since the weather rarely goes below 75° here. But we may need it to protect the plants from the winter rain season. ... show more

Great for your money! I did take a precaution and stabilised the greenhouse with a little string but overall it's pretty stable. I've had it up for months now and it's perfect for apartments will little light. I do have a plastic sheet on each shelf because the gaps are too big for 2" pots or smaller. I wouldn't put heavy clay pots as it may cause problems later on. Hold humidity very well and heat from whatever grow lights you have. ... show more

This 4 tier mini greenhouse was very easy to assemble. I simply layed out all of the package contents on the floor of my living room. I followed the 3 step assembly diagramed on the 1 page instruction sheet that came with this unit. Once I had all 4 tiers of the greenhouse in place, it was time to move it outside to my patio. Moving the greenhouse outside was no trouble at all because even though no tools were required for assembly, I did use a small rubber hammer to gently tap all the poles in place which definitely anchored, secured, and steady the overall framework of the greenhouse. Once outside, I added the wire shelves and PVC cover and -- voila! This greenhouse is good to GO! ... show more

I have a lot of begonias. Like, a lot. I needed a shelf that can stay nice and humid despite the AC being on in the house so my begonias don't crisp. This shelf ended up being bigger than I expected and has plenty of room to hold several dozen of my collection - and the important part is, the humidity inside stays a comfy 65-70%. I have a small humidifier and a small fan on the bottom shelf with the rest stuffed full of plants. It could be a bit more sturdy but for the price I'm not complaining, and I won't be moving it outside so wind isn't a concern. ... show more

I advise using some light rope to tie the whole thing together top to bottom so you can lift it and move it around without the shelves disengaging from themselves. I expect solving this issue at a manufacturing level would result in a more expensive product, and at that point, might as well buy “metro” shelves. ... show more

My seedlings are so happy! We have two grow lights above the greenhouse, shining down. I mist them here and there and then the greenhouse does the rest. My little plants are happy and warm while they grow strong enough to go outside. The greenhouse itself is super easy to assemble. I'd definitely recommend using zip ties to secure the shelves to the poles. In my opinion this greenhouse is not meant for long term outdoor use, but rather to start seedlings or keep plants happy indoors. I definitely want to get another one to help fuel my plant obsession. 😀 ... show more
