We received the fish at 9:30 in the morning via postal carrier however we were never informed that the delivery had been made. At 1:30 when I got off work I saw the message that the fish had been delivered so I called my husband immediately to have him go check the mailbox. When he went to check the mailbox the fish were in there and the packing cooling agents we're no longer cool and the water that the fish were in was very warm. We thought for sure there was going to be an issue with the fish surviving. When we took them inside and let them acclimate to the water they thrived! Not only did they thrive but they are beautiful! All five cute little guppies came alive, properly double bagged and in a small insulated box. I let them accumulate overnight and freed them in the morning, and man were they starving!! They were shipped by USPS so I was worried abt their safety but the box was properly labeled and they must've been careful with it. At $30 for this bag, I paid about $6 a fish and I feel like since the proper packaging and shipping is included in that, I got a pretty good deal! I was under the impression that I was buying so many with the possibility of some of them dying, as thats just how fish are. But I was plesantly surprised that they had survived sitting on my front steps for 4 hours before I was able to get home to grab them. I already had two guppies (bought these to replace one that died) and they all are peas in a big pod now! They're all pretty small, normal guppies. I got some long tail and some short, I even got one with a cool forked tail that my friend named Poseidon. ... show more

Packaging was appropriate. However, were 2 dead on arrival. The others seem okay after getting them acclimated to the tank. They are very small, but active.

Fish arrived today, 2 dead fish, Seller wanted a photo but I don't have a cell phone nor a digital camera. I think it may have been mis-handled by Fedx.. Packaging seemed pretty good, but bag was deflated and some water leaked out trapping one of the dead fish in plastic folds. Fish were small, but expected, and very pretty. I'll contact seller, not sure what they will do. I believe this one's on Fedx. Seller should be given a 5 star rating, but can't with 2 dead and miss handling. Well left a message with the seller, maybe it's a good thing because 5 more fish died. Went to the pet store where they test your aquarium water, ours tested perfect and our heater works fine. save your money, not worth the problems, too bad pretty fish. ... show more

I received five guppies. They were pretty lethargic. By my estimate I got them in about an hour from delivery. I acclimated and got them in my seasoned tank ( two years and cycled) water parameters were good. They looked to be thriving. In a day colors were popping thru and they were very active save for two that started to hide then altogether stopped eating. So I’ve lost two in one week m. Keeping fingers crossed that the others continue to do well. It’s the risk you take buying online. Seller is very responsive to inquiries. Update: lost two more so down to two. I have shrimp in that tank so if it was my parameters I would have lost these as well. I have four other tanks with fish harder to keep than Guppies so I’m baffled and can only assume I got a bad batch. Money wasted and I don’t think I’ll be doing that again. Update 2: All fish have died. My snails and shrimp continue to live their best life. Seller says it could be my water parameters or disease in my tank. Well I have no other fish aside from their guppies in that tank so it it's disease the guppies were shipped as such. It's a waste of money. You're better off getting guppies from your local pet store. They have a better return policy. ... show more
